Canadian Law Student Resources
Resources pour étudiants canadiens en
droit
Introduction:
This has been something that I have
been wanting to do for a while, and now, finally, I seem to have a lot
of free time to devote to it... Since I am new at Webpage designing,
this page will probably start out with no bells and whistles at all, but
hopefully some useful information and links. My primary focus is
going to be to create a resource for law students in Canada, but some of
my other passions are probably going to creep up in these pages too.
This page will hopefully not only have serious information for law students,
but will also deal with the funnier side of the law - lawyer jokes and
all! Eventually, I intend to make this site bilingual (English and
French) to a certain degree, and definitely include many francophone links,
especially interesting links about francophone culture in Canada.
Hope you enjoy the site!
Special Feature: A young
lawyer's diary
The link underneath contains a very
interesting article I read in The Advocates' Society Journal about
a day in the life of a young lawyer working at a big firm in Toronto.
I would recommend anyone interested in finding out more about the actual
practice of law after lawschool (since law school courses don't really
tell you about work) to read this article and keep in mind what the author
has to say.
Constantly
