People, I think it's time to get back in touch. I know summer can be hectic but wouldn't it be great if we updated each other on what we've been up to?

I guess I'll start. I've been in Saskatoon for over a year now. I work at Shaw TV. I'm a reporter/VJ on the their daily news. I'm also a reporter on The Health Show. And if you miss me you can see me on the web in streaming video at www.thehealthshow.ca. Click on RX Files or 24/7 segments and follow the links. Lisa Unrau also works at Shaw and is on the same website. To sort out the confusion between Lisa M and Lisa U at Shaw they've given us Asian type nicknames, Lee-Sum "LISM" and Lee-Sue "LISU".

I haven't seen anyone else from J-School around recently although I know there are a few in Saskatoon.

Beside work, work, work, I took a road trip to the states in April. I attended two weddings in Las Vegas. One at the Belagio Hotel and one at the Graceland Wedding Chapel. Talk about your night and day weddings. After five days in Vegas we went to Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Zion National Park, Brice Canyon, Salt Lake City and then made our way back via Calgary. Fun.

I have one other item in my "back in touch" agenda. I have a female friend who needs a place to reside in Regina for about a month. So if you have a spare space and want to make some $$ let me know.

So until the next time take care. Congratulation everyone on all of your new wedding vows, and babies, and work accomplishments. And for the rest of us we've stayed out of jail right.

The rumors are true I'm currently residing at Candle Lake, SK, 45 min NE of Prince Albert. And I do work for S.E.R.M. fire control. That's my money job. I climb a tower 100 feet in the air and look for fires and write, read, etc. until my shift is done.

Quinn's doing good. I hope you are all keeping well. I'm sad to say I am hooked on Survivor. Even after I heard through the grape vine that Regan and company at NTR tried to warn us about the impending epidemic. In fact, I'm starting the Saskatchewan version and for a small fee I'll drop you and your friends off at Kokom Island in the middle of Candle Lake to have a go at it. I'm also looking forward to NBC's new drama Deadline that's debuting this fall. It's about a Journalism school professor and his class of ace students that solve cases the copes can't even crack. Ah, the good old days...

So the job hunt. I have the promise of something for the fall but I'm not holding my breath about it. In the meantime, I've been getting into photography. I'm also considering water skiing lessons to perfect my wipe-out. And a friend of mine is taking me parasailing this week if the weather holds. Besides freelancing and working for S.E.R.M. I've been biking, hiking, golfing, fishing, and barbecuing on the deck.

Until next time, like we say at the lake, remember only you can prevent forest fires and unplanned pregnancies! Just Jokes!

Hey, just heard last night from Heather Polischuk that Lisa M. is up at Candle Lake working in the park as a fire spotter of some sort. (You know up in the tower watching for smoke!) She has also been freelancing for the P.A. Herald so that's when they spoke.
