Justin proposed in front of the Trevior fountain, surrounded by rose vendors and fellow romantics. It was a beautiful cool evening in Rome, and we'd had a wonderful time there, wandering the spanish steps, viewing the colloseum, and drinking exquisite cappuchino.

We've finally gotten our ring back from the Jewelers- we got it at a shop on Pearl Street here in Boulder, and really love it. The sapphires are from Montana, the only place where they have that cornflower blue tint. Isn't it beautiful? It's platinum, so it is stronger than it looks! The ring on the right is the wedding band we are going to get. Isn't it beautiful?

My grandmother mailed me the dress she wore on HER wedding dress 55 some years ago. It is an absolutely beautiful dress, and I am hoping to wear it to the wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Can you believe it fits her 25 year old grand-daughter??? She was 18 when she got married herself- and a bit taller than me, but otherwise, we are the same size!
