Philanthropy

Alpha Delta Pi participates in many activities to support Ronald McDonald House, DeKalb area agencies and the philanthropies of other Greek organizations.

Ronald McDonald House provides support and housing to families of seriously ill children.  Alpha Delta Pi assists by donating financially and by volunteering at Ronald McDonald House fundraisers.  Fundraisers we hosted included Fall Ball Softball Tournament, Videopalooza Video Game Tournament and a Pop Tab Collection.  Ronald McDonald House fundraisers include the Annual Silent Auction at the Palmer House in Chicago, as well as smaller concerts and raffles.  Additionally, we often send cards to the families at Ronald McDonald House to raise spirits.

Alpha Delta Pi also assists local charities in their fundraising efforts.  We volunteer at the annual Tootsie Roll Drive for Knights of Columbus, bake cookies for Chips for Charity, walk in the March of Dimes, raise "bail" for the Muscular Dystrophy Lock-Up and Bowl for Kids' Sake to benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters of DeKalb.    We also provide assistance to Hope Haven by collecting toiletries, sending cards at holidays and making Easter Eggs for an Easter Egg Hunt.

We participate in the philanthropies hosted by other chapters on campus.  These include dance competitions, volleyball, softball, soccer and flag football tournaments and Anchor Splash.
