The RX Roundtable is a meeting where various pharmacy professionals come together to discuss their jobs, this includes industry, retail, hospital, marketing,etc. Are you interested?

The cost right now is approximate and depends if I have a min of 20 people and max of 30 people. It can range from $250 to $320 per person. It really depends on how quickly we buy our plane tix and how many students are going.Ideally, 25 students should go. The deadline to tell me whether you will be participating is February 8, 1999. I need to know by 5 pm. There will be a meeting on February 8 for those that WILL be going!!!! at 5 pm in Fogarty's Reading Room. If you are unable to attend, please call me at 792-0143 ASAP. You can email me a response, drop a note off with Denise in Dean Lausier's office or call/tell me in person. If you need any more information, please feel free to contact me. Unfortunately, financial aid will be on a first come, first serve basis because of the donations I have recieved were for 30 students, so SIGN UP NOW! 27 students signed up at the meeting and some of you weren't present so I'm giving everyone an opportunity to attend. It is your responsibility to contact your professors with regards to your absence and of any make up of exams, quizes, and classes missed. The trip entitles 5 days in San Antonio on the River Walk, we will be able to attend Social events, the rx exposition (it's like a shopping trip), Education
courses, pt counseling competition, policy workshops, voting on issues that pertain to us as students, on site interviews/job opportunities, and to network and interact with RX companies, industry, retail chains, lawyers, pharmacists and other students. Faculty from URI will also be attendance. I think Dr. Campbell said the 3rd years can take their midterm on the plane!!!! There is also a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenary , the Alamo,etc and to party on the Riverwalk which has many restaurants, clubs and bars. The total cost for the trip is approximately $700, this covers air tix, registration, hotel for 5 nights, meal allowance and travel to and from the airport to hotel and URI Breakfast!!!
