Office Skills

The Office skills programme is the eleventh skill to be added to the Organization's curriculum. The class began on January 2, 1996 and trains approximately thirteen (13) trainees per term. In addition to typewriting which heads the syllabus, there are several other disciplines pertaining to office procedures, such as Communication in the Office, Telephone Technique, Spelling & Vocabulary, and Junior Office Duties. The class moves on to the Computer Literacy course, following mastery of all other procedures.

At the end of all training the trainees are encouraged to sit the Pitman's Typewriting Examinations at selected stages, depending on their ability.

The class would be pleased to extend its services to the local community, by typing business correspondence at very low costs.

Interested persons can contact the Administration Team: phone (473)444-8532.

The appointed instructor to the office skills class is Mrs. Norma Rogers.
