As a public service to our alumni, both old and new, here are the chapter houses which we've lived in. Hopefully they will bring back some fond memories. Why don't you e-mail us and share your stories?
1964-1967
(711 Dale Street)
This is the chapter house for Al-Azhar and its crest. If you don't know what Al-Azhar is, then its none of your business!
1967-1973
(701 Broadway St)
This was the residence of Al-Azhar and later TKE. This house was later condemned and replaced by the one below.
The 1970's
(701 Broadway St)
Tekes were the first fraternity on campus. This chapter house has a cathedral ceiling in the foyer and the letters TKE in brick, next to the fireplace.
The 1990's
(302 E Mulberry St)
This was the Tekes chapter house during the 1990s. It had individual apartments for members and one of the largest basements at ISU.
The 2000's
(9 Delaine Dr)
This is the current TKE House. Located in West Campus, this home has seen many improvements in the couple years the chapter has lived here.
