This is for my best friend, Private First Class Jason Jones, and his success in the US's Airborne Rangers. We (as in his family and I) are extremely proud of him, and I chose to tell the world about it.
So, who is Jones? Well, I've known him almost seven years now. We graduated together in '98 from Versailles High School. He's kind of a difficult guy to describe. You know that guy in your class who's kinda goofy and really funny but pretty much sticks out from everybody else? That's Jones. He moved to my Versailles from Washington in '94, and decided to rebel against the conformity of "the in crowd". I never fit in anyway, so we got along great.
Jones is a big athlete. He played football and soccer, wrestled, ran track...and he did it well. He's a first-class actor, too. Last time I talked to him, he was really interested in coming to college and studying theater after he finishes his service, though now I think he may be leaning more towards West Point and making a career of it.
Now, Jones is PFC Jason C. Jones, Airborne Ranger. He's stationed in Savannah. We miss him alot, especially me, since I'm at college and only get to hear from him through his mother.
