Tooting My Own Horn

OK, How do I go about talking about myself, I mean how dull can that be. Who honestly likes to sit there and just say "Oh I've done this, this, and this..." And on top of that, who would sit there and read it. It's nice to here that some one is interested in who I am, but I imagine that I'm some what average and of course everyone is unique in there own way... I guess that's what people would be interested in, not the fact that people do this that and the other thing but that the reason why or the way people do the things they do the things they do that become interesting. Or maybe it's cause we have a curious relational nature that we want to know about people. Whatever the reason may be, I have to say that I think I sound like an absolute moron actually typing this; and if you've made it this far into my little schpiel, you must have some kind of perseveres personality because I couldn't actually sit down and read through this.

But if you really want to know something about me, I'll tell you. I'm 21 years old. I was born in Brooklyn, New York, and live in Atlanta Georgia. Naturally I like to do exciting things, things that get the adrenaline going or things I can look back on and say I did it and I did my best at it. My favorite hobby.....mountain biking, and then the rest of the sports thing. Yippee for Rawhide Racing!!

Lately I have found myself appreciating art a little more, particularly classical guitar. My friend Martin pays absolutely wonderfully and I have a bunch of other friends who play extremely well also (Two Brians, a James and two fathers). I've always enjoyed Art, I guess. It's not like I'm some huge proponent for it just kinda if I like it I like it and if I don't I don't. Neat trendy arty coffee houses are always fun. If the atmosphere is enjoyable and not over powering.

I've been to three different colleges, Nyack College in Nyack, New York, Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa Falls, Georgia, and a community technical school, Gwinnett Tech ( I took a class there over the summer to stay busy, very boring). School at times can seem worthless but I've had some interesting experiences that has given me a wealth of wisdom. Friendships are valuable, and at times the only redeemable thing that keeps us going. And of course, we can always rely on our family. Yeah, I know some situations may be different from others, but I've had both ends of the spectrum and my entire family is valuable and sacred to me. I love them all dearly, Father, Step-Father, Mother, and Step-Mother. I don't know what I would do without them.

I know that life looks ridiculous at times and it there even comes a time when it seems there is no where to turn to. And everyone may come to that point at one time or another. I've been there, I didn't like it. It was hard and with all that was going on I saw no way out. Then I met Christ. He has given me a new hope and shown me his love in a way that surpasses anything anyone can imagine. He is God and he loves me, and he loves you. I find my rest in that. Accepting him as my personal Lord and Savior, having faith that he died for me and following him is what my life is about, and I will continue to do that as long as I live.
