Our mission is summed up in the preamble to our constitution:
The Liberal Arts Council, in adhering to the concept of interdisciplinary education, shall devote itself to the furtherance of the liberal arts. The Council shall:
1) provide a means of communication between students, faculty, and administration;
2) initiate and assist in the improvement of academic standards through the investigation of problems in curriculum, facilities, career placement, teaching excellence, and administration;
3) actively seek to enhance the quality of student life within the College by promoting programs related to academics, career orientation, and social activities;
4) actively seek to improve student awareness within the College and across the campus of the activities, problems, and scope of resources available within the College of Liberal Arts.
