Winners will be published in
Analecta 26. Winners in each category will receive two free copies of the journal,
and one featured writer in each category will receive a $100 prize. Prize money and copies of the journal will be
mailed on the release date of Analecta 26One featured author in each genre may receive a
prize of $100. Prize money and copies of the journal will be
mailed out on the release date of Analecta 26 (to be announced).
All entries are judged through a blind selection process, and nothing written on this cover sheet will influence decisions concerning publication. please send two typed copies of each submission and a self addressed stamped envelope (postmarked by Oct. 22) to:

Submissions without cover sheets will not be accepted. Please include two copies of each submission.
Your name must not appear on any page except this one.
All work must be previously unpublished.
The contest is open only to undergraduate and graduate university
students. You may be asked to present proof of your student status before publication.
If your work is selected for publication, you will be asked to send it, along with a biography, on a diskette in Microsoft Word format.
Analecta is published in the summer and released in the fall. Winners are notified in May 2000.
We reserve the right to deny publication and awards if no suitable submissions are received in a category.
We reserve the right to use any work published in Analecta 26 for promoting the journal, including online publication.
Submissions will not be returned. Do not submit originals.
