CNHS Class'67 Alumni Foundation
What Are We All About?

The Cavite National High School (CNHS) Class 67 Alumni Foundation, Inc., is an organization composed of members and family members of the CNHS Class '67 Alumni Association. Although a subset of the Alumni Association, the CNHS Class ’67 Alumni Foundation is completely independent and has its own autonomy in exercising its own constitution and policies. The Foundation also has its own duly elected officers and maintains a transparent financial status that is entirely independent from the Alumni Association. The Foundation was organized and formally entered and registered to the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission as a duly incorporated association on April 25, 1990.

The objectives of the Foundation are:
• To provide scholarship to the poor but deserving graduates of CNHS and children of CNHS Class’67 alumni obtain employable skills by way of knowledge and opportunities thru technical educations.
• To sponsor scholars to technical education in reputable schools or training centers.

Each year, prospective candidates of the CNHS graduating class will be chosen from the list of prospects who consistently excel in their studies but have difficulties to pursuit higher education because of their financial capabilities.

The initial list will be provided by the Guidance Counselor of CNHS based on their initial screening. Hopeful candidates will be interviewed by the selection committee and selection will be based on their academic standings, financial capabilities, outlook in life, ambition, philosophies and attitude. Selected candidates will be sent to the Technological University of the Philippines for the school’s entrance exams. Candidates who passed the school’s entrance test will be further evaluated including a background test to determine the validity of the candidates’ claim including assessment of parents or guardians’ commitment.

Number of selected successful applicants will be based on available slots for scholarship. Each applicant who meets all the Foundation requirements will sign a contract of agreement. The contract simply binds all parties to the following:
• Scholars are responsible for meeting all the requirements and abide with all rules and regulations of the foundation.
• Foundation will provide the necessary financial support and constant monitoring of the scholars progress.
• Parents will provide all other support not furnished by the Foundation.

The number of scholars that the foundation can accept is based entirely on the available funding made available thru the contributions of the members of the CNHS Class‘67. However, support is not limited to members of CNHS Cl’67 only. Prospective sponsors are continuously solicited to support this noble cause.

There is nothing more heartbreaking than that of turning down a qualified applicant because we only have so much available support. Each year we always encounter some extra ordinary achievers that the Foundation cannot accommodate because of the limited number of sponsors. If you think you can help please do not hesitate to call or ask any member of CNHS Cl’67 Alumni Foundation.
