My name is Jennifer

I had a dream last night that I awoke alone and cold. It was dark and I could see nothing around me. I became frantic and reached out, grasping only air. I was suffocating. I woke up to find...
I was not dreaming.

$500 fine for picking roses

Just kidding!!!! I am described by those who know me as a little morbid, a little dreamy and a little eccentric, but I suppose that comes with burying your head into French and Spanish philosophy books for four years and socializing with literature professors. I proudly hold my B.A. with a triple major in Spanish Language and Literature, French and Francophone Language and Literature, and Italian Language and Literature from Santa Clara University, 2002. Though I definitely could have done without the waste of my tuition money on trimming palm trees, I certainly did not complain about the beauty of the campus, especially in the Springtime.
Since I have graduated, I have unfortunately been put in the position to confront the question, "What the hell am I going to do with my life???" I suppose I should have thought about this earlier, but majoring in languages sounded so interesting and dynamic. I am finally faced with the question, "WHAT'S MY PURPOSE???" Ok, ok, I know that even Camus, the existentialist, said, "You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of, and you will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life," but I can't help it. " Life is meaningless and worthless "
damn ambulence chasers
This August, I will start my first year at University of California, Hastings College of Law. Yes, I have decided to become one more of the millions of slimy lawyers wasting space in the California Yellow Pages. No, really, I am planning on concentrating on International Law. No ambulance chasing or defending child molesters. I have ultimately decided that my direction in life is to serve as a voice for those fleeing persecution from their homelands: asylum law. Ideally, I would also like to delve into humanitarian law. And yet again, I am sure I will be faced with the dilemma, "This all sounds fine and good in law school, but how the hell am I going to make a living at it?" For this reason, I will also explore International Law, which could also be a little more of a business or political concentration. Ask me in 3 years how I am fairing.......

Would anyone have guessed that there are buffalo in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park??? No? Ok, thanks, now I don't feel so stupid for not having known. What's that you say? You were joking? They're right next to that duck pond? I AM stupid? Great. I KNEW I was meaningless and worthless!

One last question: Do you wear sunscreen?

"Oh, I've found them, man! They're right here on the map next to the duck pond!" --Andrew
