Even before I declared my political science major, I'd always been quite an opinionated woman. I am a registered Democrat, but I also like some of the ideas that the traditional Republicans had put forth (that is, the ones that remember that the point of the party is to minimize goverment not the hypocritical ones that keep trying to shove their religious beliefs down my throat). I am pro-choice, anti-death penalty, a feminist, pro-environment, but pro-nuclear power (something Greenpeace and Sierra Club hate), pro-gay, pro-gay marriage....the list goes on and on.
