EXPERIENCE

Aide to the Bishop. Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, Boston, MA, 2001.
Assisted with the visitation program by administering the visitation schedule, driving the Diocesan Bishop and recording minutes at meetings with the congregation and vestry; prepared wedding permission letters to out-of-state clergy, prepared expense vouchers, maintained the bishop's vestments, maintained the bishop's car, assisted with correspondence and provided additional office support for the bishop's administrative assistant.

Assistant Manager. Natural Wonders, Burlington, MA, 1999-2001.
After working for the retail company as a sales associate during my college breaks in 1999 and 2000, I received a promotion in September of 2000, with increased pay and responsibility. Promoted to help the store meet sales goals through team effort and customer service, coached and trained the staff on the sales floor, filed and organized supplies and correspondences from the Home Office, keyed in payroll, closed store at night, received shipments, and processed transfers, recalls, price changes, and damaged goods.

Product Manager. The Skeller, Randolph-Macon Woman's College, Lynchburg, VA, 1999-2000.
Organized the Skeller Board to take inventory on a monthly basis, logged inventory information into the computer, continuously checked inventory, remained in contact with three food distribution companies to refill orders, kept up with price changes and implemented the necessary changes to the Skeller's prices, assisted in the hiring of new employees, and provided human resources for the employees.

Executive Secretary. Bridges, Randolph-Macon Woman's College, Lynchburg, VA 1998-2000.
Recorded minutes, maintained contact information of members, was the liaison between this diversity-promoting organization and the Office of the Dean of Students, responsible for requesting room reservations, met with the rest of the Executive Officers on a bi-monthly basis to determine direction and goals of the organization.

Affirmative Action/Outreach Director. Young Democrats, Randolph-Macon Woman's College, Lynchburg, VA 1998-2000.
Wrote an annual affirmative action plan to be included in the organization's charter packet for the Virginia Young Democrats, was the liaison between the organization and other organizations, met with the other executive officers on a monthly basis to determine direction and goals of the organization.

Campaign Intern. Citizens for Susan Fargo, Waltham, MA, Summer 1998.
Organized office files, assisted in compiling a voter database, coordinated volunteers, and drafted fundraising letters.
