April 1, 1999...one of the 15th floor's favorite holidays. As soon as the clock struck 12 on April 1st, April Fool's Day was in full effect on the 15th. Here are the highlights:
- Mike sneaks into his room long after Vince and Dave had fallen asleep, and sets every clock in the room ahead by 3 hours. This included watches, alarm clocks, the tv and microwave clocks, and the computer clock.
- A drunken JR decides to hook up his stereo to the floor PA system. A rowdy bunch of Rampagers celebrate when Puff Daddy's "Victory" blasts throughout Rhoads Hall at 3 in the morning. He ends up getting written up for violating Quiet Hours.
- Mike steals Dave's towel while he's in the shower. In return, Dave removes all of the bolts holding Mike's bed together. Needless to say, a disaster occured when Mike jumped in bed later that day.
- Steve, JR, Vince, Mike, and Dave type up a fake probation letter intended for Matt. The letter informed him that he had to meet with the Resident Director, and it involved Matt violating the "Illegal Substance Abuse" rule. According to the letter, RA's were aware of Matt smoking weed, and wanted to hold a conference with him about the situation.
