"Field Trip Report"

The 15th Floor Rampagers surprisingly like to do other things besides sit in the dorm and drink Beast all the time. Yes that's right. We go to other people's places and drink Beast. That is where we came up with the idea for the Rampagers "Field Trip Report." Here are a couple of places that the Rampagers have gone to have fun.

Rampager's take it to Hampden-Sydney known as the "Stnons World Tour."--Rampagers Dave, Mike, Vince, and Matt with friends Lisa and Andrea took a break from VCU and desided to take a trip to Hampden-Sydney College for their Greek Week. They found a good place to stay with friends Seth and Brent that attend HSC. Friday night was full of fun with lots of drinking and seeing live bands at Fraternity Circle. The night was just beginning when Vince insisted that he had just hooked up with some unknown girl. It is still a mystery whether he did or not. After everyone had returned from the fraternities Dave started to get a little out of hand with the Bacardi 151. Saturday Matt, Vince, Lisa, and Andrea headed back to VCU for other business. Dave and Mike held out for another night of fun. Drinking started early and went on until the wee hours of the morning. This was a funfilled weekend of drinking and women. Rampagers try their best to spread their love all around.

Bringing havoc to Old Dominion University--Rampagers Jimmy and Nate took a road trip in early Feburary to ODU for a weekend of fun. They partied hard at a friends house party all weekend. Nothing spectacular happened this weekend, but at least these Rampagers obtained their goal of drinking large amounts of alcohol and having a good time.

Cooling off at the river--A favorite past time for all Rampagers is to go to the river at Pony Pastures to cool off in the rapids. Anytime the weather was nice and anyone felt like skipping classes we decided to take a quick trip to the river. Since it's only 20 minutes away it was no problem to go out there and check out the women and soak up the rays. This is one of the few sober trips the Rampagers took since we didn't want any casualties on the rocks.

Cooking out on the grill--On two separate occasions the Rampagers took road trips to cookout on the grill. The first weekend Rampagers Didier, Nick, Matt, Nate, Vince, and Dave piled up into Dave's car to head out to the West End. The destination: Didier's backyard. We arrived in the late afternoon and Mom had to give us money for provisions. So then we took another trip to the Super Market. This was a new experience for the Rampagers. It seemed like a whole new thing for Vince as well since he seemed to grab everything he saw, and not understanding our money limit we explained to him that we had to be rational. After that, the grilling began and the food was great. After letting the food settle we got into a hardcore game of B-ball. Didier's 8 year old brother was burning the net up with the most points. It was a perfect day for a cookout and some B-ball. After that it was back to school and the brew. This past weekend 10 Rampagers piled into 2 cars and headed for Williamsburg. The destination: Dave's backyard. Although it was a rainy day it did not slow the cookout down and we about cleaned his parents fridge out. After lunch and a short stroll around Williamsburg to see the sites, once again we headed back to Richmond. Rampagers will take any chance they get to get away from the shitty food at Hibbs.

Hockey Night--After an "eligant" dinner at Hibbs, Rampagers Mike, Matt, Nate, Vince, Dave, and Mike High with ladies Lisa and Kelly headed out to Richmond Colesium for a Hockey game. We couldn't even get parked before Mike opened the door and puked all over the road. It was kind of weird being that he was completely sober. It was no set back to Mike and so we continued to the game. It was a pretty good game although we were disappointed that we didn't see any fights. We did see Mike puke all over Richmond Colesium about 6 times. We also got a kick out of watching Dave dance for the spotlight that was shinning on him. It was a good night and luckily Mike didn't die.

Play Ball--Rampagers Mike, Matt, and Dave took a trip to see Richmond Braves play one day. They got in for free because they were helping AKL do some cleanup work after the game. Just outside of the stadium Mike and Matt got to see Dave in action in helping fellow citizens that were just involved in a car wreck. Luckily no one was hurt and they continued to the game. Soon after their arrival they were accompanied by Nate, Didier, Nick, Smokey, and another AKL brother. It was a good game eventhough the Braves lost. Heckling the first bassmen is always fun whether your team is winning or not.

ECU here we come--Rampagers Didier and Nick took a break and headed to East Carolina University for a weekend. They had a good weekend at the local watering holes and let no drop go to waste. A couple weekends after that Neal and Dave took a trip to ECU. Neal stayed with his girl while Dave stayed with his friend Julie. Dave couldn't even get inside the dorm to put his stuff down and he was approached by police. He was suspected as to be smoking "marijuana." In which he wasn't. The police still did a thorough investigation to find out that they were wrong. Good job ECU Police. Saturday night Neal and Dave joined forces at a house party and ended up working and nursing the keg. What a great weekend they had.

Rampagers Crash and Burn--Nate, Jimmy, and Aaron thought they would have a weekend of fun in the sun at Nate's lakehouse just near N.C. They took plenty of provisions expecting to have a good weekend ahead of them. After no more than an hour on Nate's waverunners Jimmy and Aaron got into a little game of chicken. Well they both won. In taking evasive action Jimmy and Aaron both turn to avoid hitting each other, but only a second to late. Both waverunners colided throwing Jimmy off of the waverunner and a good distance away into the water. Luckily no one was hurt although this trip cost them $1300. A little more than they expected. In the collision it cracked the waverunners hull and took on a little water. This weekend of fun was short lived and they ended up laying in the sun the rest of the weekend.

A Day in the sun--Rampagers Nate, Dave, Vince, and Kelly took a break from boozin' and school to go to Mayo Island to listen to some tunes. They had an awesome day listening to Baaba Seth, G Love and Special Sauce, Everything, and The Bodean's. Any day is a good day for listening to music and checking out the fine women strolling around.
