· Chem-Tech Society exsisted at Sheridan about 2 years ago.
· Our goals are to :
- talk to others in chemical professions
- take tours of chemical industries
- etc
· Membership is $5
- includes pub night free (some)
- field trips discount
- pizza night, lunch
· First Pub Night November 5?
- for chem-tech members or chemistry students
- contest? (lab coat or t-shirt graffiti)
· Maybe having a lottery draw.
· CSCT- Canadian Society of Chemical Technology
- membership is $20
- will find out what this includes
· Regional Chemistry Job Fair.
Try to organize a science and technology career fair that allows students to talk to chemical employers who visit the school.

· What group is to involve.
· Chem-Tech is a member of CSCT- Canadian Society for Chemical Technology.
· Fee of $20.
· Attending and organizing trip to CSCT conference on Tuesday, October 6.
Problem: Test on that day.
Proposed: Talk to Janice and see if she can do anything about this.
· Getting members from each year and group of chemistry courses to join Chem-Tech.
- 1 representative(contact) from each group to provide information on tests, labs, etc.
