Plan 10 from Blunt Views
Well we thought it could be fun !
Well it's that time of year again. You know the time we all go "Well there's always next year !" the time the rest of the league look at our side and say "How on earth could they be that bad ?". Well in true Blunt Views style we've got a few ideas to make our last game not only fun to watch but an all round party for Fans.
On field performance
Well we can't do much about actually playing - if only they'd sign some of the fans (oh wait isn't that what happened to Ben ?). But being armchair quarterbacks with plenty of playing hours racked up in Madden (in it's many different styles) we could all make a better job of calling the offense than Jim Socher. The biggest problem with our offense is that well... we know what's coming, so do the commentators and the defense of whomever we're playing against. We're so predictable that I'm surprised our offense doesn't seem to know what's coming. Anyway Blunt Views has a solution to this problem which would remove the need for an Offensive co-ordinator, give the fans something to look forward to and make the defense honest.
It's all very simple... at the beginning of the game when we all head into the stadium instead of putting our names in for the half time draw.... we write an offensive play. Then when we call a play instead of using a playbook , we just pick a play written down by the fans out of the hat. Gives us all a bit of excitement. Normal rules would apply... no draws allowed. Oh and if that doesn't work - just stick Grieb in ? PLEASE ?
Backfield Party
Right then... No bad bands okay ? Oh and try and avoid sending Blunt Views staff up on the stage to sing ? Even if we DO have a new song... (kept under wraps until Thursday).
