Hey y'all, this ones really short and sweet as I'm devoting pretty much every free moment to this independent study project on nonviolent resistance, bits of pieces of which should be posted here within a couple weeks. So, there's just a couple quotes to hopefully invoke thought, but the real purpose of this message is to announce the creation of a bulletin board for this site... The plebiscite begins with a mere click on the link towards the bottom of the page. To be honest I'm rather exhausted by life and worn out right now... so it would be wonderful if y'all would take over some of the thought on these issues and comment and all. Eventually I'd like this to evolve into a page where the bulletin board, rather than my musings, are the central feature... Anyways, peace...

"Injustice is the greatest catalyst of revolution. A nation that found life in revolution has now become the world's foremost counter-revolutionary force, not because the American people would have it that way but because an expanding economy and continuing profits require an insistence on the status quo. Competitive capitalism as a system, and capitalists in general, must learn the hard lessons of justice, or a country may be swept away and humanity with it."

This America
has been a burden
of steel and mad
death
but, look now,
there are flowers
and new grass
and a spring wind
rising
from Sand Creek

The future will not be mad with loss and waste
though the memory will be there
eyes will become kind and deep
and the bones of this nation
wil mend after the revolution

That dream
Shall have a name
after all
and it will not be vengeful
but wealthy with love
and compassion
and knowledge
And it will rise
in this heart
which is our America.
