Comments: Hope you have an enjoyable football season for all but one day of the season. Remember, I skewer the idiot Dawgs, not the sane ones. Also, never hesitate to fire back! Jim
Comments: Dave, I have been trying to locate this site for days, now I can bet opposite you and win, I had a bad year last year because I couldn't find your site. Finally found it on a Lilburn Dawg link. Going to Athens Saturday, if you are going to any games this year e-mail me and maybe we can hook up. Good Luck on your handicapping. How about Mich/ND this week +7.5(ND). Do you get any phone numbers to go with the br
Comments: The Bulldogs will be impressive this year. Kickoff is at six tomorrow, can't wait.
Comments: This weeks picks look good to me. I agree on most all of them, however, not all of the favorites will cover. It never happens!! Good luck on your wagering. What about F$U & LA Tech? F$U favored by like 35!!

Comments: BULLDAWG BRIGADE is a club of crazed UGA fans. Est. in 1997 we dress to impress or something like that. we reallllly show our team spirit. website is coming soon!!!!
Comments: no mention of the virginia-ga tech game?! must be jealousy. Georgia hasn't beaten Virginia in modern times, couldn't this year, and probably will lose to ga tech by two touchdowns later this year.

| Comments: I'm writing to extend an idea which I feel, as well as so many others, is detrimental to the success of this year. Two years ago we played South Carolina in Columbia. The band was stretched across the field, the chicken was prepared to streak down the f eld, and the team was eager to take the field. Then from the stadium speakers you heard the music of 2001: A Space Odyssey. As it began to build so did the excitement of the crowd, and by the time it reached it's climax, I felt the stadium beneath me mo e. I have to confess it was a scary site, and when the night came to a close we had been destroyed. That was a night I soon not relive. The continued success of the Dawgs can not come from the field alone. It also has to breathe from the fans. South Carolina's fan base is impressive, but I still hold that Georgia's fans are the best there is. Howeve , we need a jump start. Imagine if you will... the stadium is packed with 86,117 of your closest friends. The team is huddled at the entrance of the tunnel, and the field is covered with the RedCoat band, Auxiliary corp, cheerleaders and of course UGA. Brook Whitmire makes th famous call, ‘If your blood runs red & black, stand and let's make some Sanford Stadium noise'. The crowd stands and begins to yell, scream, bark and anything else they can do to shake the place. Is your heart racing? Can you feel the adrenaline begin to pump throughout your veins? Now imagine from the stadium speakers, the RedCoat Marching Band begins to play Kryptonite. The equivalent, yet more powerful, music of South Carolina's 2001. The team, with their helmets in the air, begins to bark and ho l just dying to have the flood gate opened so they can charge the field. Imagine as the noise level reaches beyond the Richter scale and swirls inside the stadium walls. And just imagine as the climax is reached, the band breaks into Glory, Glory...... Now, imagine you are the visiting team!! This can only be accomplished by playing a recording of the Redcoats through the stadium speakers. You see, my argument is that while the band plays on the field, not everyone in the stadium can hear them. Yes, everyone is yelling but they are not going bonkers, to quote Larry Munson. As a result, you automatically lose approximately 1/3 of the crowd noise. It's been told quite often from the coaches themselves how important the fans are. Let's not cheat the team from their spirit. I'm not at all mea ing to sound like I want to replace the Band. I was a band member myself from early childhood. All I want is to build a feeding frenzy before the game starts, and this can be done IF everyone can hear the music. I sent this idea last year to the leaders of the Redcoat Band including Dr. Satterwhite. They told me that although they loved the idea, announcements are made during the time prior to the team running onto the field. And because of that, something like his is not allowed. I paid close attention last year, and at no time were any announcements made during the time just prior to the team arriving. IN FACT, at times nothing was happening causing a loss of momentum. It is at this time that I find it so c itical to energize the stadium. The players need not only to hear the support behind them, they deserve to feel the electricity surrounding them. I'm asking anyone and everyone to voice their opinion on this issue. I want us, the fans, to do our part in making this an historic year for the Dawgs. If enough people are heard perhaps we can make "this" a part of Bulldawg Tradition, just as important as the hedges. Gooooooo Dawgs! Sic ‘Em Wuf! Wuf! Wuf! | Comments: Thought this may be an interesting site. Are you in Lawrenceville or did I read everything wrong? |
Comments: While I may be wrong, I think Huskers should win the National Championship since TO is retiring and will never have the chance again. Nothing against Michigan, they're a good team, and playing them would be an excellent game, and I'm not truly sure I can ay we would win, but at least then there would be no controversy over the winner.

Comments: I like the neb. pick but I dont know about the other two? Good luck.
Comments: Will be going to Athens this Sat to watch the game. Have been there many times before and always had a GOOD time. Great board. War Eagle!!

Comments: It's good to meet YET ANOTHER Dawg fan who knows his stuff. Good luck with the rest of the season. You do better than those "experts" any time.

Comments: YOUR PICKS ARE STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. THAT WHAT I LIKE. THAT'S THE WAY I PICK THEM.
Comments: You da man holmes. 9 for 10 is big, real big. 22-7 would have made a gambling man a lot of money if he/she played your picks from the beginning of the season. I took about half of your picks onthe 20th and made federal. Keep giving the locks!

Comments: The Huskies suck, and Nebraska is going to win the National Championship, with Scottie boy leading the pack!!!!!
Comments: Dawg- 9 of 10? Wow! I also went 9 of 10 this weekend, unfortunately on a $5 10-team parlay card that would have paid $4,250 had Colorado State covered in the last game of the day. I also had the Rams as the last team on an 8 team card, so their ineptitude cost me a bundle. But congrats on a great week. I'm taking next week off but look forward to your picks for the October 4 games.
Comments: Thats all I was looking for was someone to compare my picks to. I found it.

Comments: Dave....nice page (too red, though.....looks like a Commerce, GA pawn shop). Picks have been pretty good for a supporter of C.C.J.C. Whaddaya' think of Tech/Wake? Couple of pretty good (so far) rushing defenses. You better HOPE that it's a better gam than NE Louisiana / Uga! Hate to see those pollsters Sat night hitting themselves in the head, saying, "What was I THINKING last week?!?" Later! THWG!

Comments: Congrats on the success so far this season. However, you're selection of East Carolina over West Virginia this week sucks. ECU has young offensive line and will not be able to run v. WVA. And they're not a passing team. Look for West Virginia to win, li e 20-6.
Comments: Hey man, hope you keep on doing well. I may have a few more tall boys tossed my way "with a little help from a friend." Ever catch you in Athens, I'll return the favor. Old Dawg
Comments: Why didn't you pick the USC/FSU game?
Comments: nice page to bad u are a georgia bullfrog-oops dog maybe uga will go to a bowl game this year?what do u think i know a major bowl game is in store for us this year how does it feel to be losing to us again this year its 8 in a row baby well gotta run chec u all later go gators #1baby 1996 natchamps doing it again in 97 for all our great gator fans always remember uga doesnt suck the BITE
Comments: You deserve an "attaboy" for posting your picks. I'd love to do the same considering I have a source who averages 70 to 75% every year (and doesn't wager, I believe.) Keep it up!
Comments: Enjoyed looking at the 1996 picks and follow-up comments. Great sense of humor!

Comments: There is entirely too much red in this entire production. And I personally miss the beer reviews from its predecessor. Final comment, I was in Athens last weekend, and our grass looks better than your grass.
Comments: I'll bookmark this site. Sounds like this could be fun.
Comments: Never ask advice on cars from this man;-)
Comments: My predictions for the "other side" -- Georgia will lose to Florida, Tennessee and Auburn for sure. I see them losing two out of these four: South Carolina, Tech, Ole Miss and Miss. State. But unless there's a complete collapse in Athens (not likely), Georgia does no worse than 6-5. And yo heard it right here.
Comments: You are a good friend, Dave. A class act and a credit to your school. I'll buy you a beer and you can get drunk at my house anyday...no matter what that guy from Utah says. ;>)
