Li Xiaoshuang was borned into a poor family. His father was a worker.
His mother did laundry in a hotel.

  I often wondered how he got the name of Xiaoshuang. In chinese, xiao 
means small and shuang means two. Well, it turns out that Xiaoshuang
has a twin brother, and he is the younger one. His brother Li Dashuang
('big' 'two') is also a national class gymnast. However, unlike the Mo
sisters, this time the younger one is the better one.

  Xiaoshuang started training in gymnastic at 7. He love gymnastic and
trained hard. The work resulted in the first gold in the world championship
in 1995, first ever for a chinese. Along with that, China's first gold
in the team competition. Finally, this years' all around gold in Atlanta.

  Xiaoshuang is very popular amoung girls. They seem to like his large
muscles a lot. One of Xiaoshuang's strength is his ability to withstand
pain. I have a feeling that some day, he is going to need it with these 
girls.
