Running Sierra's Front Page Sports Baseball Pro 96 season. Rules 1. Requires Front Page Sports Baseball Pro 96 2. 100% willingness to play Some Basic Rules: 1. We will simulate 1 weeks worth of games on wednesday and 1 weeks worth of games on Saturday. 2. The simulations will be done at 7:00 pm eastern time. 3. Lineups must be in by 5:00 pm eastern time on the day of sim. 4. Injured players must be put on DL and taken off the DL by the owners. 5. a. All trades must be sent to commissioner by all teams involved in trade. The teams have 24 hours after the tradeis made to confirm it to the league presidents, or the trade is invalid. b. When you make a trade, you must tell me where you want to put the new players and who to move or release to make room for them. I am not going to make a judgement call for your team. If this is not done the players will go into the free agent pool(they will not be able to be claimed by any other team) until this is done. They will not be involved in the sims until they are. c. Trades to Computer Owned Teams: As of now there will be no trading with computer owned teams. The reason for this is because we can not avoid all bias involved in the trade and would not be able to show everyone's opinion in our decisions. 6. Rules about veterans being sent down. a. If a player has 5+ years of experience and is sent down to minors he must clear waivers. b. The waiver period will one simulated week. c. any player that goes through waivers will be listed on my web page. d. any team can claim a player, but the player will go to the team with the worst record. The Player must remain on the team that claims him active roster(unlessed injured) or he returns to the original team. e. after the period ends the player then clears waivers he still belongs to the team that waived him. 7. Free agents a. end of the year free agents. I Any player with exp. of 4,8,12,16,20,24 etc. at the end of the season, not the begining of the new one, will be free agents at the end of the year. II Each team will be able to protect three players at the end of the year. b. normal free agents. I when an owner signs a free agent, he must tell me(the commissioner)where to assign him. if their is no room, the owner must tell me who to release. if this doesn't't happen, the player goes back in to the free agent pool. II if two or more teams claim the same player, the player goes to the team with the lowest winning percentage. if two teams with the same winning percentage claim a player, then it goes to the first team that claims him. 8. Any rule changes you feel need to be inserted, must be sent to me and we will vote. The rule needs a two-thirds vote of the owners to go into effect.
