I went to BGW on Sunday, August 2, 1998, and we got there early and left late, rode EVERYTHING but 4 lame rides(like wave swings and bumbercars) encluding Alpengeist (3), Loch Ness Monster (2), and Big Bad Wolf (2).(Personally, I can't see why someone whould need to buy a 2 day pass). For more info, make sure you check out the Official Busch Gardens website.

Busch Gardens, Williamsburg Coasters

BGW Overall Review

Busch Gardens was such a neat park! The themed areas are really cute and they have great food! The only thing that i didn't like was that lake that you had to find a bridge to keep crossing over, and DO NOT TAKE THE BOAT RIDE!! I may be cute> but the wait is FOREVER and you have to walk back up THE steepest hill. The employees were pretty good, considering those dorky outfits.(they can't even compete with the dorkiness of the Cedar Point outfits! I mean, why are the employees at Cedar Point whearing the same things they wore in the 70s?!) So I really like BGW! It's a great family park.

Busch Gardens got a really cool new coaster for the 1999 season called Apollo's Chariot. This was in the news because this is the coaster Fabio was on when a bird hit him in the face!

Busch Gardens Best

Oldest: Loch Ness Monster (1978)
Longest: Alpengeist (3:10)
Fastest: Alpengeist (67mph)
Tallest Lift Hill: Alpengeist (195ft)
Favorite Non-Coaster Ride: Turkish Delight
