At the end of two twelve-show IAK series, two semi-finals were held to determine which teams represented each of the states entered the Grand Final. The winningest team from each state in each series competed, and the higher-scoring team of each state in the semi's entered the Grand Final. In the event of teams within a state being equally 'winningest' at the end of their series, a countback was to be made and the team with the most game wins won (as happened with Eltham and Benalla; Benalla had gained two points more over their series -- equivalent to one second placing in any given event, i.e. Eltham would have been spitting chips.). The day began with a traditional pontoon game on the big pool. The team to get five members onto the final pontoon won. | |
St. George share their game plan. Fiona McDonald appears to be a closet New South Wales fan. The brand 'Tiger' is now known as 'Asics'. Just think... if you buy Asics you could emulate the incredible feats of greats like Gleeson, Privett, Velcek and Weatherall. The endorsement possibilities are endless; they could get Michael Jordan (of Hawkesbury) and start an 'Air Jordan' product range, featuring a silhouette the great kayaker... |
