Welcome to Mark's Homepage

Thanks for visiting!

Welcome to my website! My name is Mark Stoecker, I'm 24, been married to my wonderful wife Maggie for 2 years, and have 2 wonderful children: my 5-year old step-son Jalen, and my 1 year-old daughter Elizabeth. I currently reside with my family in Chandler, AZ, which is a suburb of Phoenix. We have lived here for just under 2 years, before which we lived in Billings, MT.

I currently am employed as an Operations Support Specialist for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. The title makes it sound much more important than it is. My job is to assist Home Mortgage Consultants with the submission of the loans for their customers by ensuring all the documents are in order and included, and then register the loan into the Wells Fargo system. It's mostly a data entry type pre-underwriter sort of position. I also have been doing some BASIC computer programming to help with the data integrity and to speed up the registration of the loans.

My ultimate goal is to work for myself one day. I'm not sure what exactly I want to do, but I really would like to do something with computers. Whether it is a Network Admin, website design, or something else, I'm not sure yet. I have opened up a small ebay store that I'm trying to grow and hopefully end up making a little money there. It's still small and I have had very little time to get more products up, but right now we focus mostly on Airsoft (pellet) guns and accessories and licensed sports items and collectibles. If anyone is interested, you can check it our here Collectible Items and More

This site was created as a Final Project for my Introduction to Web Design Course at Kaplan University. I am currently pursuing an Associate's Degree in Information Technology-Network Administration. I also have a BA in Music Performance from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT. I know I kind of went about it backwards (Bachelor's then Associates, instead of the other way around). Previous to this course, I had a small amount of Web Design/HTML knowledge, about the same amount that was tought here. I had previously taught myself about 10 years ago and figured I could use a refresher. During the course of this class, I was actually presented with an opportunity to work on two professional websites. Because of that, I did some extensive outside study and learning and feel that I have advanced myself quite a bit. The two websites are azafl.com and arizonahawks.com. The azafl site I have completely overhauled, but have not yet had a chance to work on the arizonahawks.com site yet. You can follow the link above to azafl.com to learn more about Australian Football, or Footy as it is often called.

The topic of Cascading Style Sheets came up quite often during the course of the class, so I decided to make my informational page about CSS. To get a VERY BRIEF overview of CSS, click on the link above to learn about it.
