Booker T vs. Chris Benoit
Haven't we seen this match before? This was the 8th and deciding match in the seven match series. You do the math, it doesn't make sense to me either. Booker T proved that Chris Benoit is definitely the better ring technician. This match went basically the same as the other 532 matches they have fought against each other, so I will spare the details.
Winner: Booker T by pinfall after a missile drop kick.

Saturn vs. Kanyon
Without a doubt this was the best match on the card. What else would you expect from a Saturn match? Kanyon proved that he too has excellent wrestling skills by pulling off some rather unusual moves. After the Flock was forced to leave, the match really got going. Kanyon nailed Saturn with what is best described as a reverse TKO. As the match went back and forth, Saturn gained control. Saturn hit Kanyon with the standing side kick, but could not get the pin. Someone dressed as Mortis came out of the crowd, and then another Mortis. A close look revealed makeup on the arms of one Mortis to cover up tattoos. Saturn jumped off the top rope, but Kanyon caught him and executed a reverse Russian leg sweep. Kanyon pinned Saturn and then a Mortis nailed Kanyon with the evenflow DDT outside the ring. Of course, it was Raven. Raven told Saturn what a disgrace he was and said, "You want a piece of me?" Saturn went after Raven, but the Flock entered the ring. Saturn disposed of the Flock, but by then Raven was gone.
Winner: Kanyon by pinfall after a reverse Russian leg sweep.

Chris Jericho vs. Dean Malenko
For those of you keeping score at home, I have Jericho executing 26 different moves. Where were the other 978? This was an action packed match that Jericho turned personal. With Malenko in the corner Jericho taunted, "You're just like your dead father... nothing!" Malenko snapped and took Jericho out of the ring. Malenko hit Jericho with a chair resulting in a disqualification. Malenko then beat Jericho down the aisle into the dressing room, out to the parking lot and out into the street. Jericho ran across the street into a building. No decision was made on whether or not Jericho wins the title by DQ. We would have to tune into Nitro to find out.
Winner: Chris Jericho by disqualification.

Juventud Guerrera vs. Reese
Let's be real for a second. This is like me fighting my ten-year-old nephew, but we all knew what was going to happen. Reese tossed Juventud around like a rag doll for most of the match. With Juventud on top of Reese's shoulders, Van Hammer hit Reese from behind with the chair. Juvi executed a Hurricanrana and pinned Reese. You didn't have to look too close to see that neither of Reese's shoulders were even down.
Winner: Juventud Guerrera by pinfall with a Hurricanrana.

Chavo Guerrero vs. Eddie Guerrero
A fellow columnist recently referred to Chavo as a total jobber, but I am sure this match will change some minds. Chavo finally was able to display his amazing wrestling talents with the new angle formed with Eddie. The new attitude of Chavo made for an interesting start and even a better ending. Chavo nailed Uncle Eddie with a form of the Tornado DDT, but he hooked Eddie's throat around the top rope. Then Chavo did a springboard off the top rope and finished Eddie off with the Tornado DDT
Winner: Chavo by pinfall after the Tornado DDT.

Fit Finley vs. Booker T
If Fit Finley was as tough and great as the WCW announcers build him up to be he would still be the TV champion. A tired Booker T proved once again that he was up against a wrestler with better skills. Booker T missed what was supposed to be the winning move when he could not reverse the Tombstone DDT. Booker T picked up Fit Finley and started setting him up for a piledriver. Booker T then executed the move like a Tombstone. The second most worthless title in professional wrestling just lost more value.
Winner: Booker T by pinfall with a modified tombstone piledriver.

Konnan vs. Goldberg
And the NEW U.S. Heavyweight champion... yeah right. Typical Goldberg match that lasted 2 minutes and featured 6 holds. Goldberg finished off Konnan with... you will never guess. That's right, the Jackhammer. Curt Hennig and Rick Rude then entered the ring and started beating on Konnan. Hopefully they beat some sense into him, or better yet broke his jaw so we don't have to hear Konnan work the mic ever again. La rasa es muerta!!! Hennig took off his Red and Black nWo shirt to reveal his Black and White nWo shirt. Nash ran out so Hennig and Rude headed for higher grounds.
Winner: Goldberg by pinfall with the Jackhammer.

Macho Man/Piper vs. Hogan/Hart
Bret Hart proved that he is the only one out of this group that can still go. An injured Savage didn't look that great in the ring. For the most part, the match was filled with punching and kicking. Macho Man climbed to the top rope for the big elbow, but fell when Piper whipped Hogan into the ropes. Bret Hart slapped on the Sharpshooter and Macho submitted.
Winners: Hogan and Hart by submission of Macho Man Randy Savage.

Macho Man vs. Piper
Mean Gene entered the ring and asked Piper if this fight would happen. Piper shook his head no and helped up Savage only to have Savage knock him down. This definitely was not the crazy style match we would expect. It all ended when Piper put the Figure Four on Savage. That's right, Savage submitted twice in the same night
Winner: Roddy Piper by submission with the figure four leg lock

Giant vs. Sting
The winner would become 1/2 of the tag team champions and then name his partner. Giant already said that The Disciple would be his tag team partner, so we knew Giant could not win. Giant came to the ring smoking a cigarette. Kids, don't do that at home! Smoking is a tumor causing, teeth staining, smelly, puking habit. Sting took the offensive right away. Giant took control after Sting missed with the Stinger splash. After getting out of the bear hug, Sting took control with a drop kick to the knee. He followed up with two Stinger splashes,a body slam and a Scorpion death lock, but Giant kicked out of the hold. Two Scorpion death drops could still not put the Giant down for the three count. With Sting on the top turnbuckle, he executed another Scorpion death drop for the pinfall. Of course, we don't know who Sting's partner will be. Tune into Nitro to find out again.
Winner: Sting by pinfall after the Scorpion death drop from the top rope
