Originally bred in England to chase small game animals from their dens, the Wire Fox Terrier has boundless energy, and his antics are endless. The coat is dense and wiry in texture, looking almost crinkly, and is predominantly white in color. It requires regular brushing, especially on the legs, to prevent matting. Sometimes called the "gentleman's terrier," this dog has a snappy, self-assured personality, along with remarkable eyesight and endurance. His intelligence and interest in everything around him combine with his tolerant temperament to make him a lively and most enjoyable companion.
