1996-97-JUNIOR SEASON

Averaged 18.4 ppg, 4.1 rpg and 4.2 apg after sitting out the first 11 games due to academic difficulty...Was cleared to play for the Arizona State game on Jan. 11 and responded with 18 points and seven assists...Gained his first start of the season at UCLA on Jan. 18 in Pauley Pavillion...Scored a team-best 23 points against the Bruins(9-13 FG)...In addition to his Final Four MVP honor, he was also named the Southeast Regional MVP after scoring 47 points in the two wins over Kansas and Providence...Honorable Mention All-PAC 10...Scored in double figures in 18 of 23 games and had 20 or more 11 times...Went for 20 points in the second round win over the College of Charleston...Led the Cats in scoring in nine contests...Finished the regular season with a game-high 23 points to go with seven rebounds in the 79-77 loss at Cal...Had 24 points against Washington State (9-14 FG)...Team-high 24 points vs. UCLA at McKale...22 points, career high 5 steals and nine rebounds vs. Arizona State at McKale...PAC 10 Player of the Week after that outing and the one two days later against Tulane (30 points/10 rebounds...Leading up to the Oregon State game in Tucson, he spend 2 days in the hospital with pneumonia but was able to score 11 points in the game coming off the bench...Team Captain...Team-best .754 free throw percentage...Started 16 of the 23 games he could play. 1995-96-SOPHOMORE

Started in 30 of Arizona's 33 games...Second leading scorer on the the team(13.2ppg)...Fourth leading rebounder (4.0)...Nominated for an ESPY award after his 65 foot shot that game Arizona the win over Cincinnati at the 7-UP Shootout in Pheonix...Honorable Mention All-PAC 10...Sears Division 1 All-District Second Team...Tied or led the team in scoring on eight different occasions...Had 28 points in the win over UCLA in Tucson...Had six other 20+ point games...Averaged 18.0 ppg in the Cats' 3 games in the NCAA tournament...Scored 24 points at Washington shooting 10-of-13 from the floor and hitting his final six shots to lead the Cats to the win...Named to the Preseason NIT All-Tournament Team... 1994-95-FRESHMAN

Made an immediate impact, averaging 8.9 ppg...The most by a UA freshman since Khalid Reeves averaged 9.1 ppg in 90-91...Honorable mention All-Pac-10 Freshman despite missing a month of action with a dislocated right index finger...Suffered the injury at California after scoring 10 points in 24 minutes...Returned a month later, ironically against California, and proceeded to average 10.5 ppg over the next six games...Then-career-highs of 17 points/seven rebounds and added six assists in a win over LaSalle...In the 114-111 double-overtime win at Washington State, he stole the ball, converted a layup, and was fouled in the process...He completed the three point play to tie the game at 90, bringing the Cats back from a 10 point deficit with just over one minute remaining...Scored 15 points with a season-high seven rebounds in that Washington State game...Had nine starts, first start game at UTEP where he reponded with 16 points/five rebounds...Member of the West team at the 1995 Olympic Festival.
