WHERE'S THE BEEF run TOEJAMMS out of town
LaMont Jordan unsung hero in WHERE'S THE BEEF victory
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
28 TOEJAMMS (2-1)
• Marion Barber - 102 rush yards, 10c 1r TD
• LaDainian Tomlinson - 21c TD

32 WHERE'S THE BEEF (2-1)
• LaMont Jordan - 121 rush yards, 1r TD
• Clinton Portis - 1r TD
• Braylon Edwards - 21c TD
(9/25/2007) — With apologizes to Drew Brees and company, winning for the WHERE'S THE BEEF still starts with a stingy defense led by mastermind coach Chris J as they throttled the TOEJAMMS offense 32-28.

LaMont Jordan delivered his third solid performance in a row with 153 yards of total offense and a 1-yard touchdown. Clinton Portis rushed for 60 yards on 14 carries, grabbed 6 passes for 37 yards, and scored on a 1-yard run. Braylon Edwards caught 4 balls for 83 yards and kept owners happy with a 21-yard touchdown.

"Turnovers have been the difference for us the last few weeks," WHERE'S THE BEEF coach Chris J said. "If you can't get in the end zone, at least put the offense in a situation where it can capitalize."

Marion Barber got a lot more touches this week and he delivered in a big way. Barber scored twice and finished with 112 yards of total offense. LaDainian Tomlinson's yardage woes still exist (62 rushing yards and 33 receiving yards), but he still has a nose for the end zone. LT scored once on a 21-yard reception.

"We were able to come up with a few turnovers, but we weren't able to turn them into points," TOEJAMMS coach Coach said. "That's the big difference."

John D silent after embarrassing loss to BROKEN BONES
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
88 BROKEN BONES (1-2)
• Donovan McNabb - 381 pass yards, 68t 12t 43t 43t TD
• Adrian Peterson - 102 rush yards, 11r TD
• Brian Westbrook - 110 rush yards, 111 rec yards, 25r 5r 43c TD
• Vincent Jackson - 27c TD
• Nate Kaeding - 44g FG
• Baltimore O/D - 75pr TD

21 WOGG DOGGS (1-2)
• Jake Delhomme - 13t 5t TD
• Carnell Williams - 7r TD
• Antonio Gates - 113 rec yards
(9/25/2007) — The high scoring BROKEN BONES had no problem finding the end zone against the very generous WOGG DOGGS defense. Head coach and defensive coordinator John D toyed with several different schemes before settling on the prevent defense early in the 3rd quarter.

Donovan McNabb gave patient owners exactly what they were waiting for by lighting up the scoreboard with 4 touchdowns and 381 yards on 21 of 26 passing. Brian Westbrook is back on track after 2 scoreless games to open the season. Westbrook scored three touchdowns, rushed for 110 yards, and caught 5 balls for 111 yards. It looks like Adrian Peterson is going to have plenty of opportunities to prove his worth this season. Peterson racked up 150 yards of offense and scored on an 11-yard run.

"I live for setting lineups like this – getting to call all of the shots," BROKEN BONES coach Jim L said.

Jake Delhomme was on his way to a nice game before leaving with an injury. Delhomme completed 10 of 18 passes for 109 yards and 2 scores. Antonio Gates had another big game with 11 catches for 113 yards. Gates leads tight ends in receptions and yards.

"It's hard to describe my feelings right now," a subdued John D said. "It's hard. It's just hard to watch them play that way."

ACTING CAPTAINS sluggish after pre-game hotel party, lose 65-16
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
16 ACTING CAPTAINS (0-3)
• Cedric Benson - 1r TD
• Ben Watson - 8c TD
• Robbie Gould - 20g FG

65 IMPALERS (2-1)
• Eli Manning - 33t TD
• T.J. Houshmandzadeh - 141 rec yards, 35c TD
• Roy Williams - 204 rec yards, 91c TD
• Ronald Curry - 41c TD
• Jeff Reed - 36g 49g 35g FG
(9/25/2007) — Even with a rejuvenated offense, the IMPALERS were happy to come away with a victory against the winless ACTING CAPTAINS.

Roy Williams scored for the third consecutive game (this time a huge 91-yard touchdown) and posted over 200 yards receiving on 9 receptions. T.J. Houshmandzadeh was the popular target this week with 12 receptions for 141 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown. Eli Manning didn't have his best stuff on Sunday as he threw for 232 yards, scored once, and intercepted twice.

"We finally felt comfortable offensively. It feels like a burden has been lifted," IMPALERS coach Dan P said.

"We're winless and we can't score," said maligned coach George K. "There ain't a worse combination than that."

NATURE BOYZ destroy GALLOPING GESTOPOZ 60 - 44
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
44 GALLOPING GESTOPOZ (1-2)
• Carson Palmer - 342 pass yards, 35t TD
• Laurence Maroney - 103 rush yards
• Willie Parker - 133 rush yards
• Brandon Marshall - 133 rec yards
• Cleveland O/D - 99kr TD

60 NATURE BOYZ (1-1-1)
• Jay Cutler - 1t TD
• Joseph Addai - 4r 8r TD
• Shaun Alexander - 100 rush yards
• Terrell Owens - 145 rec yards
• Deion Branch - 42c TD
• Stephen Gostkowski - 24g FG
• Pittsburgh O/D - 50i 98kr TD
(9/25/2007) — Ron S acknowledged being nervous before the game, partly because of the outlandish “taking candy from a baby” comment on how the NATURE BOYZ would have their way against the GALLOPING GESTOPOZ defense.

Joseph Addai delivered his first multi-touchdown game of the season but failed to top 100 yards of offense for the second week in a row. Jay Cutler posted impressive fantasy stats for the third week in a row with 222 yards and 1 score. All three of Cutler's scores this season are less than 10 yards long. Terrell Owens didn't manage to find the end zone this week, but he delivered some nice yardage with 8 catches for 145 yards.

"In the middle of the third quarter, maybe they gave up," NATURE BOYZ coach Ron S said. "They were ready to go home. It was cold and they had a long flight home and they've had problems with their coach."

Carson Palmer didn't turn in his most productive game as he completed just 27 of 43 passes for 342 yards, one score, and 2 interceptions. Willie Parker racked up 133 yards on the ground on Sunday, his third 100-yard game in a row. Brandon Marshall is becoming a frequent target in Denver. Marshall grabbed 7 balls for 133 yards on Sunday

"We made the game way too hard," GALLOPING GESTOPOZ coach C J said. "We needed to get off the field and give our offense a chance."

LOS VATOS look clueless in 66-26 loss
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
66 STORM (2-1)
• Peyton Manning - 273 pass yards, 2t TD
• Ronnie Brown - 112 rush yards, 99 rec yards, 1r 2r 22c TD
• Thomas Jones - 110 rush yards
• Anquan Boldin - 181 rec yards, 5c 32c TD
• Jeff Wilkins - 42m 43m 25g FG

26 LOS VATOS (1-2)
• Jason Campbell - 8t TD
• Chad Johnson - 138 rec yards
• John Kasay - 45g 49g FG
(9/25/2007) — The unsportsmanlike play of the STORM resulted in the LOS VATOS crowd tossing bottles and other debris onto the field late in the 3rd quarter. The crowd settled down after 2 delay of game penalties were enforced.

Ronnie Brown came out of nowhere to rack up 211 yards of offense and 3 touchdowns. Brown's first two games totaled 141 yards and no scores. Not surprisingly, Anquan Boldin had a huge day after Kurt Warner took over at QB. Boldin scored a couple of touchdowns while catching 14 balls for 181 yards. Peyton Manning struggled to post strong fantasy numbers again this week as he completed 20 of 29 passes for 273 yards and one score.

"When you've got so many guys down and out like we did, you've got to stick to a simple game plan," said STORM coach Brian H. "We did the easy stuff. Just run it straight ahead and beat them head-to-head."

Chad Johnson maintained his yardage lead this week by grabbing 9 balls for 138 yards.

"I don't think being benched is on his mind right now," LOS VATOS coach Mark R said when asked if the quarterback feared for his starting position. "I've got other problems than who the quarterback is going to be."

T-BONE CRUSHERS off to best start in years

• Tom Brady - 311 pass yards, 8t 3t 4t 45t TD
• Steven Jackson - 115 rush yards
• Donald Driver - 126 rec yards, 5c TD
• Plaxico Burress - 33c TD
• Chris Cooley - 8c TD
• Josh Brown - 23g FG
• Tennessee O/D - 61i TD

70 T-BONE CRUSHERS (3-0)
• Jon Kitna - 446 pass yards, 11t 91t TD
• Travis Henry - 6r TD
• Randy Moss - 115 rec yards, 3c 45c TD
• Adam Vinatieri - 36g 28g 35g FG
• Dallas O/D - 28i TD
(9/25/2007) — T-BONE CRUSHERS emerged the winner in a turf battle royale.

Jon Kitna was a yardage machine this week as he completed 29 of 46 passes for 446 yards. Kitna is just shy of 1000 yards after 3 games. Randy Moss turned in his third 100-yard game in a row and scored two more touchdowns to keep his dream season going strong. Moss finished with 5 catches for 115 yards.

"It's becoming a trend for us offensively to put a drive together in the fourth quarter," said T-BONE CRUSHERS coach Coach. "I would prefer to put the game away in the first half like we should have, but we'll take it."

Tom Brady delivered his third outstanding performance in a row with 4 more touchdowns and over 300 yards in the air. Donald Driver had his most productive game of the season with 126 yards and a 5-yard score. Plaxico Burress scored once to keep pace with Randy Moss for the wide outs touchdown lead. Burress finished with 5 catches for 86 yards.

"What are you going to do?", TECHNOIDS coach Dan L asked. "We have to bounce back next week. That's all you can do -- put this one behind you, try to move forward and stay in the chase."
