Braylon Edwards kept his outstanding season going on Sunday with 2 more touchdowns and 117 yards. Edwards is tied for second among wide outs with 9 touchdown receptions. Ben Roethlisberger scored twice but he otherwise didn't have spectacular stats this week (19 of 26 for 230 yards and an interception). Joey Galloway had another long touchdown reception this week while grabbing 6 receptions for 115 yards. Three of Galloway's four scores are from over 50 yards out. "Coach congratulated me on the win and I told him I thought the T-BONE CRUSHERS had some talent," WHERE'S THE BEEF coach Chris J said of their midfield embrace. "We wished each other luck." Kevin Jones continued to improve this week with his first 100-yard rushing game of the season and a 4-yard touchdown. Jones has back to back games with over 100 yards of offense. Jon Kitna disappointed owners with his third scoreless game in a row. Kitna finished with 268 yards on 24 of 35 passing. Randy Moss scored his league leading 11th receiving touchdown of the season, but managed just 3 catches for 47 yards in the game. "It just didn't seem like we were ready to play. That surprised me," said T-BONE CRUSHERS coach Coach. "They played better than we did, more focused than we did and made more plays than we did." Marques Colston owners have been very patient this season and this week it paid off. Colston grabbed three touchdown passes and finished with a season high 8 receptions for 85 yards. Brian Griese had a miserable day with 2 sacks and 4 interceptions. Griese connected on one touchdown pass and finished with 208 yards. Marshawn Lynch had a lackluster fantasy performance this week with 80 yards on the ground and no scores. "It's a great achievement," LOS VATOS coach Mark R said. "One thing I like about this team is that we can win a lot of ways." T.J. Houshmandzadeh extended his scoring streak to 7 games while pulling in 7 balls for 81 yards. Housh leads the league with 58 receptions. Eli Manning must have been suffering from jet lag this week as he completed just 8 of 22 passes for 59 yards. Manning failed to throw a touchdown for the first time this season, but did score on 10-yard run. LenDale White must finally be getting into shape. White rushed for a career high 133 yards on 25 carries, his second 100-yard game in a row. "I'm just happy to be where we are now," IMPALERS coach Dan P said. "Hey, we're going to have to play a lot better than we did today if we're going to do something." Not surprisingly, Brett Favre rose to the occasion on Monday night throwing for over 300 yards and two huge touchdowns. It was Favre's fourth 300 yard game of the season. It looks like Joseph Addai had no intention of sharing the workload this week. Addai rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns and scored on a 4-yard reception. Hines Ward had his best game of the season with 2 touchdowns and 8 receptions for 88 yards. "That's what makes this team special," NATURE BOYZ coach Ron S said. "We don't have all of our players, but the players we do have, everybody comes together and makes it happen. ... That means we can only get better." Peyton Manning got off to a very slow start on Sunday but rebounded nicely in the second half with a couple of touchdowns. Manning finished with 254 yards on 14 of 30 passing. Reggie Brown delivered his best performance of the season with 8 catches for 105 yards. Brown is still looking for his first touchdown. Thomas Jones caught a season high 5 balls for 34 yards and rushed for 70 yards to finish with his third 100-yard game of the season. "I don't think it's that our offense has played bad," STORM coach Brian H said. "It's just that we want to play better. It felt good to keep following it up, score after score after score." Tom Brady had another typical game, tossing a couple of touchdown passes while completing 29 of 38 passes for 306 yards, his third 300-yard game in a row. Brady also scored twice on touchdown runs. Greg Jennings gave owners a treat on Monday night with an 82-yard touchdown on the first play in overtime. Jennings finished with 6 receptions for 141 yards. After missing several weeks, Steven Jackson had 8 rushes for 41 yards and scored his first touchdown of the season. Jackson left the game in the second quarter with a back injury. "I was really being a jerk on the sidelines to the players," TECHNOIDS coach Dan L admitted. "I had to do something to get them in gear." Derek Anderson had another outstanding performance on Sunday with 3 touchdowns and 248 yards on 18 of 25 passing. Anderson is now second in the league with 19 passing touchdowns. James Jones scored a huge 78-yard touchdown in the first quarter in Monday night's game at Denver. Jones grabbed 3 balls for 107 yards in the game. Antonio Gates caught 3 balls for 92 yards on Sunday, two of which he turned into his longest touchdowns of the season. Gates leads tight ends in receptions and yards. "Pin this one on me," WOGG DOGGS coach Paul M said. "This was a game lost by poor attitude, lack of fire and passion, and an inability to set a decent lineup." After many of the league’s coaches commented that the TOEJAMMS coach made a few lineup mistakes, enough points were put on the board to beat the GALLOPING GESTOPOZ by a 46-41 margin. Marc Bulger completed 23 of 36 passes for 310 yards and a short touchdown. It was Bulger's second 300-yard game of the season. Torry Holt turned in his first 100-yard game of the season with 6 receptions for 110 yards. Holt also scored on 1-yard reception, his fourth score this season. Kellen Winslow only caught 2 balls for 26 yards this week. Fortunately for owners, one of Winslow's receptions was for a score. "It doesn't matter who you play, you always want to get out of the gates fast," TOEJAMMS coach Coach said. "We haven't done that historically. It's what we will work strongly on this week." Willie Parker rushed for 126 yards on 22 carries, his fifth 100-yard game of the season. Parker's 1-yard touchdown was just his second score of the season. Carson Palmer didn't have a bad day; he was just unable to make any big plays on Sunday. Palmer completed 23 of 31 passes for 205 yards and a short touchdown. Wesley Welker continued his steady play this week with 9 receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. Welker has 5 scores in his last 3 games. "I should be disappointed, and I am in a certain way -- but these guys in this room were fighting all the way to the last second," C J said. "We just can't spot a team that many points. They made the plays. We had a good scheme, but it didn't work against them." Donovan McNabb threw for 333 yards this week, but he failed to score multiple touchdowns for the fourth game in a row. Reggie Wayne was on fire this week with Marvin Harrison out of the lineup. Wayne caught 7 balls for 168 yards including a 59-yard touchdown. Brian Westbrook rushed for a season low 46 yards on 21 carries, but broke out of his scoring slump with a couple of touchdowns. Westbrook added 4 receptions for 46 yards. "We came out on fire," BROKEN BONES coach Jim L said. "Things were clicking. Our run game was working and opening up our passing game." Lee Evans finally delivered what owners have been expecting from him… a long touchdown reception. Evans grabbed 5 balls for a season high 138 yards. Philip Rivers only completed 7 of 11 passes for 130 yards this week, but he still managed to post some nice fantasy stats. Rivers connected on three touchdown passes that accounted for 94 of his passing yards. "It was a devastating loss," said ACTING CAPTAINS coach George K. "It was probably the biggest game of the season."
