2004 OHIO FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE RULES League Profile: The OFFL consists of 12 teams in three divisions. The regular season schedule coincides with week 1 through 15 of the NFL season. The OFFL playoffs will occur in weeks 16 and 17 of the NFL season. In the regular season each team will compete head to head against a scheduled opponent. After 15 weeks of contests, the three division champs and one wild card will proceed to the playoffs. The Draft: Each team will draft a maximum of 18 players. Any of these players may be traded to other teams or replaced through the supplemental drafts, through the course of the season. A draft order will be chosen out of a hat. A snake draft format will be used. ( 1 - 12, then 12 - 1, then 1 -12 and so on) The drafted team will consist of; 2QB's, 4RB's, 6WR's, 2 Kickers, 1 Defense, 3 Reserves. * In the first 15 picks you must only draft the roster spots available. In other words, you can't draft 4QB's in the first 15 rounds. Only two! * In rounds 16 through 18 of the draft you may choose your reserves. * Teams may only have 3QB's on their roster after the draft. * You do not have to pick an extra defense in the reserve rounds. For the price of $ 1.00 you may substitute a defense from the ones still available during your teams bye week. * Rookie keeper: Any rookie drafted in the first five rounds and kept on your roster all seventeen weeks of the season may be retained the following season in the place of your third round draft pick. Rookie Keeper status is non-transferable for the players rookie season. You must announce before the draft all Rookie Keepers', however, once the draft has started Rookie Keepers can be traded. * When a player is drafted, his position must be stated by the drafted team and approved by all attending owners. Supplemental Draft: Weeks 4, 8 and 12 of the regular season, all teams will be able to replace any player with a free agent at the cost of $ 1.00 per move. Supplemental draft order will be determined by worst to best record. The draft format is always 1 - 12, 1 - 12, 1 - 12 etc. * Rookie Keepers' released, loose their Keeper status. * You are required to release a player (to pick up a free agent) if your total roster is 18 or above. Trades: Trades are between the involved teams at a cost of $ 2.00 per team. Notify the commissioner of all roster changes as soon as possible. You may trade any combinations of players (3 for 1) etc. * Trade deadline is week 12. ( Sunday 1:00pm ) * Rookie Keeper status can not be traded Rosters: Your team will start with 18 players: 2Qb's, 4Rb's, 6Wr's, 2 kickers, 1 defense, 3 reserves. After the initial draft your team may only have a total of 3Qb's. * When the draft is over the "regular season" officially starts. During the regular season there is no limit to the amount of players of any position you can carry on your roster. In other words, you can have 12Qb's if you so desire. * If because of trades, you have lowered your roster below 18 players, you may add players during the supplemental draft to fill out the roster. * If because of trade you have more than 18 players, you are not required to release any (to be at 18). Starting line ups: They're are two kind of line-ups you can submit to your opponent. * PRO SET: 1Qb, 2Rb's, 3Wr's/TE's, 1 kicker, 1 defense. * Run and Shoot: 1Qb, 1Rb, 4Wr's/TE's, 1 kicker, 1 defense. * Line-ups must be called into the commissioner and your opponent before 1:00pm Sunday. * If there is an NFL game on a Thursday or a Saturday, you must call the commissioner and your opponent and designate whether you will be playing those particular players on your starting line-up for the week, before game time. * If you do not call anybody with a starting line-up, the line-up from the previous week will be used. Our league's term for this, is the Default line-up. * Exception to default line-up: Those players who play prior to Sunday must be submitted prior to their games kickoff, those players not submitted will not be eligible for your default line up. * Any player ejected during a game or suspended by his team or the NFL will cost his owner a $10.00 fine. Playoffs: Week 16 and 17 of the NFL season will be our league playoffs. The 3 division champions and a wild card will compete for the OFFL championship. * Week 16: Seed one plays the wild card and seed two plays seed three. * Week 17: Winners of week 16 play for the OFFL championship, losers will compete for third place. This is paid to the team with the highest point total for the week of contests in the regular season. * OFFL Champion $190.00 + 60% of fees for draft and trades. * 2nd Place $130.00 + 40% of fees for draft and trades. * 3rd Place $95.00 * 4th Place $80.00 * Software $20.00 * Party fund $35.00 + 100% of the Bad Boy penalties. * Office expenses $25.00
