Cool Routines

This is my tribute to some awsome routines done throughout the years.

Elena Gurova's uneven bar routine from the 87 Worlds
Once again, a great rouitne done by a Soviet. Make sure to watch the mount, but don't blink, you might miss it:)

Gabriele Faenrich's uneven bar routine from the 85 Worlds
Gabriele Faenrich was and incredibel bar worker, and this is the routine that earned her a 10 and the gold medal at the 85 Worlds.

Danelia Silivas's FX routine from the 87 DTB cup
Danelia Silivas was an incedible gymnast, and she has 9 World and Olympic gold medals to prove it. She did some incredibel floor routines over the years, but this one deffantly one of my favorites

Tatiana Tuzhikova's FX routine from the 87 Worlds
Tatiana is INCREDIBLE! She mounts witha FULL TWISTING DOUBLE LAYOUT! She was the first person ever to compete that, male or female. On top of here tumbling she has greta dance.

Olga Strazheva's compolery FX from the 88 Olympics
I know this doesn't sound great, but honestly, it's one of the most beuatiful routines I've every seen.

Kim Gwang Suk's awsome uneven bar routine for the 91 worlds
This routine is incredible, she throws this incredible release move called a counter kim. For an animation of it click here

An awsome uneven bar routine done by Natalia Kuchinskaya in 1966!
She does a move that almost looks like a german giant! It's a great routine I'd recamend to anyone.

Rosa Galiyeva's floor routine from the team compition at the 92 Olympics

Yes, this is that tiny little girl who you probably remeber as that poor girl that got pulled from the AA in the 92 Olympics But don't let her size fool you, 'cause boy can she tumble!

Natalia Laschenova floor routine from the 90 US-USSA meet

Your average soviet floor routine. You know, a double layout right into a double back. An icredible full-in. Beautiful dance, that's all. (Incase you can't tell I'm being sarcastic)

Natalia Kalinia's Floor routine from the 90 Goodwill Games
This is another typical soveit routine, that gave Natalia a 10, and helped her earn the Goodwill games title in 1990

Nanalia Shaposhnikova on the balence beam at the 1980 Olympics
This is another cool routine, but this time done in 1980! You think the Chinesse's stregnth moves are hard, wait till you see her's. On top of that she does a BHS layout combo, and a double back dismount.

Yelena Davydova on floor at the 80 Olympics
This is another incredible routine from 1980, done by Yelena Davydova, who won the Olympic AA. This was her incredible floor routine that helped her take home the title.

Tatiana Groshkeva on floor at the 89 Chunchi Cup
Now lets take a leap in time it Tatiana Groshkeva in 89 and her incredible floor routine. She opens with a DOUBLE FULL IN PIKED back out, then does a whip through to a double back, and closes with a piked full in(!).

Anna Mirgorodskaya on the uneven bars in the 1995 US vs Ukraine met.
If doctors say Ouch! when they watch Teza's bar routine, I wonder what they'd say to this.

Li Li on balence beam at the 1990 Goodwill Games.
A beautiful routine done by Li Li, who is, on top of all else, credited as being the first person to bring break dancing to the beam. This routine is perfect and complete with a stuck dismount

Natalia Yurchenko on beam at the 85 Euros
This is Natalia on beam, where she has two moves named after her (!), the RO Layout mount (still difficault today!), and her Yurchenko loop

Shannon Miller's first vault in the AA at the 92 Olympics
This, by far, is the best Yurchenko full I have ever seen. Shannon gets ripped off by the judges, who fail to reconize the perfection and only give her a 9.975

Tatiana Gutsu's bar routine in the AA at the 92 Olympics
This is one of the routines that helped Tatiana Gutsu win the AA by just 0.012 in 92.

Tatiana Gutsu's beam routine from the 91 Worlds
She throws every trick imaginable including a stand full, and a full in dismount

A clip on Tatiana Gutsu during the AA at the 92 Olympics

Tatiana Gutsu's FX rouinte from Moscow Stars in 92
In this routine she does her split leg double layout and then end with a double layout (!)

Elena Gurova'd bar routine from the 87 Worlds
Not a bad routine, considering it was done in the 80s!

Irina Baraksonava's FX routine from the Soviet Display in 84
This is the first gymnast I've ever seen that really had I feel for the music, not to mention the tumbling

Aurelia Dobre on floor at the 87 Worlds
Aurelia was the last Romanian to the the World AA gold, here is her great FX routine that helped her do that

Aurelia Dobre on beam at the 87 Worlds
This is another one of Aurelia's beautiful routines, can you believe she's only 14?

Ecaterina Szabo on beam at the 84 Olympics(in avi format)
Ecaterina was a beautiful AA gymnast. She was incredible in those Olympics, but a fall on bars (and a set of incrediblly biased judges) stopped her from winning the gold. Her is here great beam routine
