Franchise Players

Whiners - The good news is burnsie has a feature back (l.smith) - the bad news is  he is featured on a team that will be lucky to have 3 rushing TDs all year and 2 of those will go to the fullback. The other bad news is the  bad attitude backup running back (rhett)  for another team that sucks.  GM grade = C (that's good for Burnsie)

Studs - The commish keeps a stud QB (grbac) with the potential for 25 TDs plus a few rushing TDs and alstott who was a feature back last year will be extremely productive considering the new fullback scoring rules and he will easy win the money for the highest scoring fullback.  The commish again comes in with the best franchise players and I'm  in good position to threepeat.  GM grade = A+

Stiffs - Miles steals fred lane for a 7th rounder and this should set his running backs up to be better than last year (which shouldn't be too hard - they really sucked last year).  Rison is a mediocre player that will produce good numbers this year only because my QB is going to put up big numbers and somebody has to catch his TD passes.  GM grade = B

Losers - Luke goes into  the season with Nappy and Brunnel and comes out with Garbage - He must have bookmarked the Pottstown Mercury website.  D. Bennett (who?) is playing for the pass happy chiefs and has never scored a TD before - I guess that means he is due.  And Jimmy Stewart, he is not going to have a wonderful (rushing) life in jacksonville - they only score about ten rushing TDs per year and Brunnell gets half of those and some rookie back is pushing jimmy for the starting position.  This could easily be the worse team going into the draft if it wasn't for sluggo (see child molesters below).  GM grade = F+

Crybabies - Dave pulled the steal of the trading frenzy season by trading for brunnell because he had absolutely nobody on his roster worth keeping.  This move could help Dave to almost make the playoffs - that's a successful season for him.  But in one of dave's typical moves he also kept Charlie Garner - what an idiot!  He should stick to running that fast food choke and puke in Exeter and let someone else (clueless benny) do his GM work.  Gm Grade = D+

Team Clueless - Even a blind Squirrel sometimes finds a nut - Ralph hit the jackpot with antowain Smith who should be a feature  back.  But then he pulled a ralph and kept a tight end (wes walls) for the first time since mensa member dave-e-boy declared Kyle Brady a franchise player - and we all know how well that worked out. All and all - it's the best ralph has looked in years.  GM grade = B+ (Ralph gets graded on a special curve).

Child molesters - This one is is unfathomable - that simpleton sluggo keeps 2 QBs (cordell and brad johnson) not realizing that you can only play 1 each week -  but at least he'll be prepared for the bye week.  the only surprise here is that he didn't keep any giants.  GM grade = I (for idiot)

Geniuses - In an uncommon occurrence, the genius surprisingly makes a pre draft trade and comes out with nappy and rob moore. Nappy will have another stellar year and rob moore should put up good numbers - wesco is really the only person who has even an outside chance of challenging me for the title.  GM Grade = G (for Genius)

Wifebeaters - Ed goes into the draft with 2 stud players - jamal andersen and freeman.  His 2 franchise players put him in the best position (besides yours truly) entering the draft.   If it wasn't for his unbelievably poor draft day performance ( just review any previous draft) he could almost be considered a contender.  GM Grade = B+, however it should be noted that this grade will most likely drop to the D- range immediately upon completion of another inadequate draft.
