    What is Paintball?

Seeing how your on my page, chances are you already know what Paintball is. For a quick history lesson, there's a difference of opinion on where Paintball actually started. Some say it was originally for loggers to mark which ones stayed and which ones got the "Tim-Berrr" treatment. Others say that it was for farmers to mark which livestock had been vaccinated and which ones had not.

No matter which group started using Paintball first, we definitely know that there were a couple of goof-offs working there who invented our great sport!

    Thank God for Pranksters, huh?

    How do you play Paintball?

Well broken down to its basic element, it's the old favorite "Capture The Flag". Of course, it's been modified with the induction of Paintball guns. And of course there are variations of capture the flag. For example: flag/flag, center flag, bomber, speedball, anything you can come up with!

Game play is a battle over whatever the game is based on, like flags or bombs. Everyone's favorite part of the game is the "eliminations" part! You can eliminate an opponent (or "group" of opponents when the nWo is involved!) in one of three ways: Breaking paint, barrel taps, or offering the hit. You need at least a "quarter" sized spot of paint to be eliminated. Splatter doesn't count. If you tag or touch someone with your barrel (softly please), they are out. And finally, you can offer someone to call themselves out. Usually this is done when you are in close proximity of someone.

Paintball has room for every kind of player also. There are positions for fast upfront offense, roamers, sneakers, snipers, defenders, anything you like. And Paintball doesn't discriminate either. Age, race, gender. We shoot each other all the same! So you can bring your friends, parents, kids, siblings, anyone who's ready to play the fastest growing sport worldwide!

What do I need to bring?

Since you're in the new players forum, you probably don't own your own equipment. Luckily for you, we have extra equipment to loan out. The only two things that you will really need is some cash to rent your equipment and proper clothes to play in. Euipment costs run as follows: $15.00 for a pump gun and all else needed, or you can upgrade to a semi-automatic for an additional $5.00. The $5.00 is to cover the maintenance of the gun. Semi's tend to call for more frequent repairs. Keep in mind that we are limited on semi's, so not everyone can have one (show up early). Now let me explain about the clothes. By proper I mean, loose fitting, breathable, and comfortable. Of course, camo is a plus. The only thing we don't want you wearing, is pure red. You see, our ref's wear red and that would lead to some confusion. Also keep in mind you'll be running around alot so cowboy boots just don't cut it. Hiking or work boots are fine as well as tennis or running shoes.
The $15.00 covers your paint for 6-8 games (depending on the weather), and the use of one of our guns. Also included is your mask, airfills, cleaning supplies, and lunch. If you want anything to drink besides water, that would be extra. As you can see, It's an all day package we put together for you. Pay once and play all day, no running out of paint early like some of the other fields. If you add it up, we're not out to make money, we are out to play Paintball. Pure and simple.

What nWo Paintball has to offer?

Well to be exact, all that Paintball has to offer!

    1. Lowest cost/play ratio. $15.00 gets you a gun, mask, paint for the day and lunch. You pay for what you're using and getting!
    2. Better fields with more choices. We have four different fields to accomodate all styles of play (and even some NEW styles!)! Don't get stuck playing the same old game like some of the other places. And like always, we appeal to the popular vote!
    3. No nonsense, non-bias judges! We set definite boundaries. Cheating is not permitted! A judge's call is final! Fairplay is enforced at all times.
    4. An over all better experience. This applies to first timers as well as seasoned pros.

So in conclusion, if you're looking at lower cost, better fields, great judges, and fairplay, what's left to decide?

    Our rules for play

Either you've read through and want to play, or you've made your mind up long before finding this site. Either way you'll need to know the rules.

    1. The most important, most repeated, and most forgotten by new players...keep your mask on at all times. The only time you are permitted to take your mask off is if you are in the pre-determined staging area.

    2. A judges call is final. Don't argue with them. If you treat them bad, they can return the favor! Treat them with respect and remember that they are there for your safety.

    3. Play fair. First off...don't cheat. You've heard it said: "Cheaters never win, and winners never cheat!". Well we make sure of that! Remember, the game isn't fun if people don't play by the rules. If you have to "Cheat To Win", stay home!!!

    4. Always have fun! If you don't, then there's no point in playing, right? Keep in mind that it's all a game. Do that, and there won't be any problems!
