Some of you have asked me: "what does it take to put one of these cars together?
Do you have to put in a full roll cage and stuff like that"?
FULL ROLL CAGE!!! FOR A DERBY CAR!!! UHH...NO (are you INSANE?!!!)
All you need is:
Two (2) Side Irons (sharp edges removed),
Two (2) Cross braces, (behind seat / dash)
One (1) upright post,
Assorted chains and hood / trunk bolt,
Roof top sign...AND THAT'S IT.
You can put one of these cars together in 24 hrs (a winning car in 2 weeks)
Since race tracks are for racing 95% of tracks have no concept of
FULL CONTACT CRASH TO KILL DEMOLITION RACING................SO THEY TEND TO
OVERKILL ON SAFETY
A FULL ROLL CAGE is only nedded for STREET STOCK and higher classes
not DEMOLITION DERBY / ENDURO / Entertainment classes

well the DARK AGES HAVE OFFICIALLY PASSED AND ALL YOUR DERBY VIDIES NOW HAVE SITES THAT YOU CAN UPLOAD (if shrunken down to 700 Mb) FULL 2 hr DERBY VIDEOS TO; TO SHARE WITH OTHERS!
I HAVE BEEN THE FIRST TO TO START THIS TREND AND I EXPECT OTHER TO FOLLOW! SOON I EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD ALL SORTS OF DEMO DERBY GOODIES FROM ALL ACROSS THE GLOBE!
But...eh.....don't post videos of derbies when you "FORCED" the camera person to tape the show
(these shows ALWAYS come out HELLA 1000000% LAME as the person dong the taping has 0% interest in doing so (AND IT ALWAYS SHOWS).
