Well, if you're here, it means you've got lots of free time. :) So, I won't spare you from knowing a bit more about me. Not that it's important, but since you're here anyways...

Eu

Nasci há 26 anos atrás aqui em São Paulo. Desde então, tenho tentado não fazer feio. Depois de estudar 12 anos no Arquidiocesano, entrei na USP e fiz faculdade de (Argh!) Economia. Depois de terminar este sacrifício, passe a estudar, também na USP, Jornalismo. Estou na reta final...
Depois de trabalhar 5 anos da Credicard (depois rebatizada de Redecard), saí em 99. Comecei lá como estagiário e terminei como o mais jovem gerente da empresa. Mas apesar de ganhar bem, todo mundo sabia que nao era o meu sonho, que é ligado a Comunicações. Este ano comecei a trabalhar com jornalismo on-line e estou mais feliz.
Além dos meus pais, minha família conta com três irmãs, inclusive duas gêmeas. São meio pentelhas mas até que nos damos bem. Não posso esquecer de mencionar a saraivada de tios e primos e avós com quem convivo quase todo dia. Todos muito legais, claro, senão não estariam citados na minha home-page.


Minha Família (My Family))
Uma pequena homenagem ao verdadeiro fundador da familia, meu avô, faleciudo há um ano e responsavel pelos ótimos momentos quue aprendemos a curtir juntos.
I was born 26 years ago in São Paulo, Brazil, the 5th greatest city of the world. Since then, I've been trying not to screw things up. :) After studying 12 years in one single school, I entered the best university of the country, USP. Unfortunately, though, I chose the wrong major: (argh!) Economy. I was brave enough to finish it, though, and then I started to do what really gives me pleasure. A Journalism major. I`m about to finish it.
I worked 5 years for Credicard, brazilian greatest credit card company. After working with travel, I was promoted to a management position (the Dilbert principle), and became a sales increasing manager (try to increase the number of merchants of our net). It was not the job of my dreams, although it payed the rent. So I left and now I`m working with Journalism on the Internet. Miserable income, but more agreeable.
I live with my parents (it`s common in Brazil) in Sao Paulo. 25 years in the same house. I also live with my three younger sisters. They`re a pain, but we get along well. One of them is in Medical school and the twins are "rookies" in Law School and Engineer College. It`s a big family, full of aunts, cousins and grandparents. As you can see above, a picture of my family and someone who has already left this world, but who was responsible for all the great tradition that we learned to share.

Bom, já deu pra perceber que o Santos e o 49ers são minhas grandes paixões. Estou 100% do meu tempo acompanhando os dois, curtindo suas glórias e lamentando as derrotas. Quero ver alguém mais fanático! Além disso, porém, algumas outras coisas também ocupam um lugar bem importante na minha vida. Meus gostos principais, aquilo que me faz sair do normal e da mediocridade estão abaixo. Se tiver algo em comum com você, não hesite em me mandar um e-mail!

Well, it's pretty clear by now that Santos and the 49ers are my greatest passions. I grew up with Santos, learned to love the Niners and now I'm always with them, in victory or defeat, a real fan! Other than soccer and football, some other things make me very excited and get me out of normality and mediocrity of routine life. Most of them are listed below. Música

De todas as outras coisas além do esporte, acho que é a que tem mais haver comigo. Gosto de música bem pop, internacional, do tipo comercial e repetitivo. Do tipo que os críticos odeiam. Fuck them. Foi como eu aprendi inglês e foi o que eu cresci ouvindo. Atualmente tenho cerca de 750 CDs de música pop, e vou tentar listá-los aqui em breve. Enuqnato isso, meus artistas favoritos estão abaixo:

From all the other things other than sports, music is what has most to do with me. I grew up and learned English listening to american pop music. Yeah, the catchy, commercial and common pop music. The one the critics hate. Sorry, folks, but that's what i enjoy. I have about 750 CDs and soon I'll try to list them here. Meanwhile, my favourite artists are listed below:

Roxette - O duo sueco ganhou as paradas mundiais nos anos 80 e 90, com seu power pop que mistura baladas (Spending My Time, Listen To Your Heart, Crash! Boom! Bang!) com bons balanços (Dangerous, June Afternoon, Joyride). Já vi três shows ao vivo do roxette e me tornei fã absoluto, com mais de 30 CDs (a maioria pirata). Os caras fazem um pop moderno, competente, muito bom ao vivo e...não estão nem aí pros críticos. Keep on Roxing, Per Gessle e Marie Fredriksson.
Roxette - The swedish duo busted the worls charts during the 80's and 90's with its competent power pop that mixes balladas (Spending My Time, It Must Have Been Love, Fading Like a Flower) with rock (Dangerous, The Look, Dressed For Success). I've seen them live 3 times, and they're great. Per Gessle writes intelligent but simple lyrics, and Marie Fredriksson is the best female vocal nowadays. They're really good, and that's why i'm a number 1 fan. I have more than 30 Roxette CDs (mostly bootlegs)

Air Supply

Talvez você nem saiba, mas certamente as melhores canções românticas que você conhece são cantadas por Graham Russell e Russell Hitchcock. Os dois fizeram um tremendo sucesso nos anos 80 com suas românticas (Making Love, Lost in Love, Goodbye). Já vi 4 shows deles, e ao vivo os caras são demais, além de muito simpáticos. Duvido que alguém tenha namoradao sem ter Air Supply ao fundo! Mais de 25 anos de carreira..
Air Supply was the number 1 pop group of the 80's. With beautiful romantic songs Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock expressed love as nobody else. Who can forget Making Love, All Out of Love, The One That You Love ? I've seen they live 4 times, and they're really great. Also, nice guys (I went backstages!). They celebrated 25 years together in 1995, with a great live CD.

Além destes dois, por quem sou FANÁTICO, também adoro:
Chicago, Heart, Phil Collins, Laura Pausini, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Carpenters, Elton John, Alanis Morissette, Beatles, Peter Cetera, Shawn Colvin, Faith Hill, etc, etc...

Cinema

A sétima e melhor arte também ocupa grande percentual das minhs preferências. Sou muito mais cinema americano do que europeu. Os críticos preconceituam Hollywood em nome de chatices como Godart e Win Wenders. Não estou nem aí.
Meus gêneros favoritos são Drama e Comédias Românticas, mas topo de tudo, desde que bem feito. Tudo que tenha um roteiro bem definido e com boa evolução. Cinema não serve só para pensar: serve para pensar e divertir inteligentemente. Não dá pra responder aquela velha pergunta: "Qual o melhor filme que você já viu ?". Já vi mais de mil, são muitos.
