Executice committee announced the following winners for 2007; awards will be presented at the May 23rd dance.
"Garbis Der Mesropian Memorial Trophy
for 2007 Member of the Year; Aram Alpian.
Aram has been a dedicated member who recently organized the 2006 Reunion of NY soccer players remembering "pre-Homenetmen Soccer's History". Aram is currently organizing the over 35 soocer tournament and Picinic. In the early 1990's Arman was also the soccer coach of the NY men's senior soccer team.
The "Hratch Chalian Memorial Trophy" for the 2007 Basketball Player of the year goes to Richard Manuelian. Rich has been a member of the basketball program from the mid 90's and has been part of 4 championship teams. In 2007 he was the MVP of the senior team which participated in the Detroit games capturing second place.
"Archag Boyajian memorial Trophy" will be awarded to Aram Hovsepian as the 2007 Soccer Player of the Year. Aram is our youngest soccer player to win this award. He is the captain and strongest defender of the youth under 16 soccer team. Aram has been playing for Homenetmen of NY since he was 11 years old.
