3913 Aqua Nick Metcalfe Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club, SA, Australia Malcolm Doley, of Moulin Rouge fame, purchased Farr Thing from Lake Macquarie at Christmas (2000). She had moved from Middle Harbour and been renamed Tooth n' Ale. As Aqua, she will eventually take to the water under her new owner Nick Metcalfe.
1180 Beta Bi Farr Tony & Denny Colliver Brighton & Seacliff Yacht Club Brought from Queensland to Sth Australia in 1992. Since then she has sailed competatively in the Saturday racing at Brighton & Seacliff Yacht Club, and also to a much lesser extent, cruising the inland waters of the Coorong along South Australia's South Eastern coast.

WS71 Farr2Sirius Gerry Gibson Whitfords Sea Sports Club, WA, Australia Gerry broke his mast and replaced it with a soling mast section this uses no check stays and was done by Taska sails in Fremantle. Farr2Sirius had been pichpoled in a storm with out damage, apparently all on board could not speak for an hour after the ride of their life, it has held up well.

ITA11080 Farrfollie Ugo & Ornella Colosio Maderno (Brescia), Lake Garda, Italy The boat was built in Auckland and , when transferred to Italy, has become the parent hull to build the Italian ones. Legend says it was Bruce Farr's personal boat. The mast is 11 meter long and the main sail is 22 square meter; the spinnaker is 82 square meter. It's a very fast boat that has been the winner in many races including the famous Centomiglia.

481 Farrnatic David Rice Darwin, NT, Australia Formerly of Sandringham Yacht Club in Victoria. Brought to Darwin in 1997. Wet Season races started last week and Farrnatic was second over the line and second on handicap!
TY3124 Farrnatic Matt & Susan Arthur Christchurch, New Zealand Recently purchased by Matt & Susan for the 2001 season. The shot of Farrnatic is at Boat Harbour, an idyllic anchorage on Taupo, a sheltered bay in almost any conditions and a great spot to stay the night and cook the trout caught on the trip over!

3493 Oh Really! Mike O'Reilly Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club, SA, Australia Formerly 'Small Commission'sailing out of NSW. Former owner Malcolm Doley has sold Moulin Rouge to the O'Reillys who have renamed her Oh Really! Mike O'Reilly and Son, Patrick, 15, have been regular good performers in the Gem 550 (Rob Humphries design 5.5 metre) class for the past five years - racing in SA and Victoria in lake and sea races.

021 Pascia Domenico & Beate Callą Circolo Vela Gargnano Bogliaco (Brescia ) Lake Garda Italy Built in 1992 by Cantiere CB2 (Cremona), Italy. Winner in many regattas in the years 1996/97/98 on Lake Garda. Great performance in 1996 third place at the Centomiglia with 50 wind knots on Lake Garda and in 1997 2nd place at the Centomiglia. WS74 Safarri Ken Gardner Whitfords Sea Sports Club, WA, Australia This is a radically modified 740 with sweptback spreaders and a well for the outboard. Originally from South Australia, Safarri is now a Division leader against the likes of the Spider 22. In Adelaide she was leading a Ross 780! Ken's son Russell has supplied some details of the modifications and I've put them on the page above. More Details.
