Regarded as one of the finest up-and-coming tag teams of the moment, the team of Danny DeLane and Matt Powers has quickly taken the WAR! Tag Team ranks by storm. However, for the very beginnings of this tag team, we must first look into WAR!'s former sister federation, RAW.....

The 'Rock n' Roll Kid' Danny DeLane

Danny DeLane started out in the world of E-Wrestling as a rookie in the stable federation known as RAW, and began to make a name for himself as a fast, hard-hitting aerialist, who was more than willing to take a risk in order to win a match. His singles career however, after a bright start, was quickly derailed through his own do-or-die attitude; He would accept challenges of anyone, and never let an insult lie, often running the gauntlet of opponents more than twice his size. As his carrer started to dip, DeLane looked towards the tag team wrestling scene, pairing off with several different partners, although these partnerships more than often led to more disappointment. His first partner turned on him, while promising partnerships with 'Waterfall' Will Reed and Akuma Ryu also failed to pay off. DeLane finally returned to the singles scene with a new attitude, and a series of victories saw him seeded 1st for the Television title tournament. Unfortunately, the federation was forced to close due to contractual difficulties, and DeLane left bitterly disappointed.

Three months after the closure of RAW, Danny DeLane made a shock re-appearance at a WAR! Housecard, sporting a new attitude (and haircut), and a new tag-team partner. The partner was Matt Powers, the team was Kalifornia Heat, and WAR! was never going to be the same again.... Kalifornia Heat are currently riding high upon their International Title reign, the fans favour and the success of WAR!Man, the Movie (don't ask). However they face stiff opposition at the upcoming MEGAWAR II, in the form of the undefeated Phantasmagoria.....

Name: Danny DeLane

Description: Danny is good looking young man with an athletes build, deep tan, and blonde hair, which is dreadlocked to about ear length. . To the ring wears black fingerless leather gloves and red and black tiger striped wrestling leggings. He's almost always smiling, and is also just slightly unhinged.

Hometown: Los Angeles, California.

Alignment: Face

Wrestling Style: Danny is an extreme aerialist, an obsessive risk taker and with out a doubt an incredible athlete. His fitness is second to none, and as well as his amazing aerial skills, Danny also has a good range of technical and mat skills at his disposal. His only real let downs are his somewhat hot headed approach, and his lack of strength, but as he always says "What's the point? Ah don't plan on gettin' caught anytime soon anyway!"

Favourite moves: Dropkick (Anyway, anyhow), Atomic drop, sunset flip, rolling cradle, Flying elbowsmash, bulldog, spinning leg lariat, slingshot suplex, frankensteiner, flying cross body block, second-rope elbowdrop.

Specialist Moves:

• The 'Shake, Rattle n' Roll': Danny's old RAW finisher, and still a favourite counter-move of his, Danny runs towards the turnbuckles, before springing to the top rope and immediately launching himself backwards into either a moonsault bodyblock on a standing opponent, or a moonsault splash onto a floored one. He has had tremendous success (and a large number of upset victories) using this as a counter to being whipped into the turnbuckles.
• The Wipeout Dropkick: Danny's newest finisher for WAR!, the Wipeout is a spectacular somersault dropkick from the top rope. Danny leaps from the top, tucking both knees tight into his chest and somersaulting into the ring, before blasting both feet out straight into his opponent with enough force to send them to the outside, let alone to the canvas. Danny lands flat on his back, but flips straight back up to go for the pin.

Name: Matt Powers

Height/Weight: 6'4"/272lbs

Age/Years pro: 24/4

Description: Matt Powers is a powerfully built African American, his hair dreadlocked and to ear length and bleached white. Matt wears to the ring black and green tiger striped wrestling leggings, and an a black elbowpad on his left arm. Matt is somewhat cooler than Danny, and slightly more down to earth. Some say he helps keep Danny in check.

Hometown: Los Angeles, Califonia

Alignment: Face

Wrestling Style: Matt is much stronger than Danny, but he is still mainly a high flyer. He has had less ring experience, and so his grappling skills aren't quite as polished, but he's an accomplished brawler, and almost as tough as Danny.

Favourite Moves: DDT, headbutt (headbutt, headbutt, headbutt -once he's started, he finds it hard to stop) side-slam, inside cradle, flying dropkick, flying cross body block, inverted atomic drop, crotch slam (Uh-Oh!), over-the-head belly to belly suplex, superplex, top rope double axehandle, clothesline (Matt's clothesline is quite unique, he throws all his weight behind it so that it is a cross between a shoulderblock and a diving clothesline. Matt delivers it either as a short clothesline, or a flying clothesline, even from the top. The impact is loud enough to be heard around the arena.)

Specialist Moves:

• Twist and turn suplex: Powers sets his opponent up for a standard suplex, then holds them in a vertical position for a few seconds, before dropping them down onto the ropes in a slingshot. As they bounce back up, Matt twists around and drops them back into the ring with a face-first front-layout suplex.
• 'Shockwave' Inverted Bulldog: Powers irish whips his opponent into the ropes, before coming off the opposite ropes himself and catching them around the head with both arms, using the momentum to take his opponent off their feet and and slam the back of their head into the canvas.

Kalifornia Heat's Entrance Music: 'California Love' by 2-Pac and Dr. Dre

Tag Team Finisher:

• The Kalifornia Dream: Both men enter the ring and Irish Whip their opponent into the ropes, Danny stepping in front of Matt in the process. As their opponent comes back, DeLane runs towards him, and hoists him into the air with a high elevation back body drop. As he turns in the air, Powers catches him and drives him neck first into the canvas in a modified powerbomb, hooking both legs in the process for the cover, while DeLane deals with any interference.
