Montreal

Like many things in life, you can find alot of good and alot of bad. Montreal has its problems just like any other city or place in the world. When you take all factors into consideration, you'll find Montreal to be one of the world's most enjoyable places to live. With so many events taking place on a daily basis, you can never be bored. Just in case you do find yourself bored, in just a few minutes you can escape the core of the urban life and find yourself right in the middle of nature. With Mount Royal in walking distance from the heart of the city you can even find the tranquillity overlooking what is considered the historical roots of Canada. Due to the rough waters of the Lachine Rapids, early european explorers found it a convenient and an ideal settlement location. If you visit here, be sure to stop by and take a look at what Jacques Cartier found so intriguing and prompted him to erect a cross on top of the mountain. Here are some interesting links to help you navigate your way around the city.
