I'll have to put some kind of music into this page at some point. But until then let me concentrate my efforts on making the content of the page as accurate and useful as possible. Then the "bells & whistles" will follow.

Went to see The Tragically Hip when they were in town on 09-Dec-1996. Hard to imagine that these guys are from Kingston, Ontario. From coast to coast they have gained the support and following of young Canadians. Their lyrics play a huge part of their success as they have the ability to reach young Canadians and give us a unique identity. In a way, The HIP makes us proud to be Canadians without trying to glorify us and make us feel superior to anyone else. They have the ability to enlighten us by helping us to relive our acheivements and failures. Put into perspective, we are just regular kind of society. A mix of various cultures and viewpoints influenced heavily by the media of our American neighbors just south of us. Always trying to maintain that unique identity.
