The runchat room has presented me with a opportunity to meet some really great people. If not for runchat I would have never met Quenton, Wayne or Sheryl here in San Diego. Our first meeting with Ruby was great! Going out to Palm Springs to meet Ulle (its pronounced ooh-la) was really exciting. In April '97 Cameron came out to the west coast to run the Big Sur Marathon with Quenton, Wayne, Sheryl and me. In August of '97 CJ came out to San Diego to meet us.I have met Kiwi Bob and his wife while he was out here on business. In 1998 Jill and her husband Jim along with Martha aka "Balls" and Dabs came out to run the Rock n Roll Marathon. In April of 2000 Sheryl and her husband and Tanya and I went back to Boston for the marathon and met Jeff and Andy.

After her initial shock of seeing me in all my splender she relaxed.

I do believe she felt a better after I changed back into regular clothes

Heres a picture of Ulle from Sweden when I met her in Palm Springs. I understand since this picture was taken Ulle has fallen in love and lost weight. She told me to tell you that this picture was taken when she wasn't training.

Well here's our meeting with Cameron at the Monterey Airport. As you can see he is smiling!! Cameron took the meeting very well. He wasn't even offended by our east Indian accents. Of course I don't think he liked us jumping out in the middle of the airport and yelling his name and wearing our lovely head dress.

After 3 days with us Cameron still had a smile on his face, of course we had to tell him a dirty east indian joke to get him to smile!!!
