Canucks MVP in 87-88, leading scorer (twice) and five-time "most-exciting Canuck". Holds team records for power play goals (102), hat-tricks (10), most goals in a period (3), in a game (4) and fastest 3 goals (6:46). 4th in all-time Canuck coring.

Graduated from the 1972 Memorial Cup champion Cornwall Royals to the WHA Quebec Nordiques. Re-claimed by the NY Islanders prior to the 1979 NHL expansion draft, but traded to CANUCKS in 1980, where he played for the next six years. Four-time winner of the Molson Cup, three-time team MVP, second among Canuck goaltenders in games played and games won, third in career shutouts. Was a member of the 1982 CANUCK Stanley Cup team.

Former member of Canada's National Team. Played pro hockey with Philadelphia organization.

Played senior hockey in Kamloops. Turned pro with Calgary (WHL) in 1955 and played 11 years in the Western League, 8 of them with WHL CANUCKS.

JOHN "GRIZZY" GRISDALE DEFENCE 18th SEASON WITH CANUCK ALUMNI

Turned pro with Toronto. Traded to CANUCKS in 1974, where he played five seasons.

Played his professional hockey in the IHL and EPHL, also overseas in both Scotland and England. A regular with the University of B.C. "Old Birds". At 69 years of age, Roy is the "senior" player in the Canuck Oldtimers lineup.

ORLAND "KURT" KURTENBACH CENTRE 23rd SEASON WITH CANUCK ALUMNI

WHL's Rookie-of-the-Year in 1957-58. Turned pro with WHL CANUCKS in 1957. Played with Rangers, Boston and Toronto before becoming an ORIGINAL CANUCK in the 1970 expansion draft. CANUCKS first captain until 1974. CANUCKS head coach in 1976-77 and 1977-78. Ranks 34th in all-time Canucks scoring.

Twice CANUCKS All-Star rep. Traded to Boston in 1974, played for Edmonton and Colorado, then returned to the CANUCKS in 1980 for one final season. 23rd in Canuck scoring.

Vancouver's third-round draft choice in 1978. Spent his entire, 13-year career - 1978 to 1991 - in Vancouver, serving as team captain from 1982 through 1990. First in all-time games played, goals, assists and points scored and seasons spent as a CANUCK. Second overall in career short-handed goals. Third in career penalty minutes, power-play goals and hat-tricks. Fifth in game-winning goals. One of eight Canucks to score on a penalty shot. Three-time team MVP. His number (12) is the only one retired in team history. Now an Assistant Coach with the Canucks.

Twice Vancouver's NHL All-Star rep, 1977 and 1982. Four-times Babe Pratt trophy winner as Canucks' outstanding defenceman. Second (to Stan Smyl) in games played as a Canuck. Third in penalty minutes. One of eight Canucks to score on a penalty shot. 27th in Canuck scoring.
