For the value, this may be one of the best products out there. Being a few years old, I ended up with the best of both worlds from this product: I got it at a nice price and since it's a few years old a lot of the guys in this set have already risen to the NHL, so it's doesn't take a junior savvy person to know who they pulled (2 years ago would the average NHL fan have cared about a Jay Bouwmeester jersey?).

But now that a lot of the top CHL stars have graduated to the NHL, the set becomes one featuring well known NHL young stars from their junior days, which is a very cool set everyone can appreciate.

Actual box contents will include at least two jerseys, which are well done and look sharp. The inserts are all very nice looking cards and well designed. The base set isn't anything spectacular, but seeing the young stars of today in their junior days makes it a very nice base set to put together. The only real drawback to the product is the break itself. Boxes are 36 packs big. There are about 10 inserts per box, so you could be looking at some long stretches of just base cards. For the same reason, single pack purchases can be tough as well.

I was quite pleased with my box, I actually knew most of the guys on the inserts I pulled! The Jay Bouwmeester jersey is excellent, I've never heard of Zepp, but he's a goalie so I'm willing to give him a bit more time to be heard. But 1:box inserts of Speeza and Bouwmeester are nice, and even the lower odds inserts were of guys like Comrie, Torres, Ouellet, Speeza, they were very nice lower end and upper end inserts in this box. I was a bit disappointed that I fell 4 cards short of the full base set (especially looking at those 72 dups!), but that's not a huge deal ... I'm pretty sure they should be easy to acquire on the secondary market.

These boxes are aging, so you should be able to find a fairly good deal on them. That should be all you need, it's a great product and you'll more than likely find some cool stuff of young NHL stars from their CHL days.
