First Pack Comments: Not every pack can be a winner and this one that "felt good" right out of the box sure wasn't. But then again, a pack with not so great contents still has 2 RCs of a couple guys who could stick around. Not so shabby from a "dud".

Wow, this was one heck of a box and one awesome product.

BAP Update is amazing. First of all, there are so many rookies your head will spin (50 of 87 regular cards I got were RCs, 57%!). Now granted, a good chunk of those aren't Ilya Kovalchuk's, but still, your rookie base is covered superbly.

And then look at all the inserts. 2 Between the Pipes Masks (beautiful inserts), you get some BAP Memorabilia parallels (nice, more limited cards, potentially of some hot rookies). On top of that, there are an average of 4 autographs per box! And these autographers aren't chumps, you'll either get a limited or extra limited auto or autos from one of the 25 top rookies from last year. We're talking Pavel Datsyuk, Erik Cole, Krys Kolanos, Tony Amonte quality autographs. 4 of them in every box!

And on top of that, there's a memorbailia card somewhere in there, with a print run of no more than 100.

Can you ask for more? Well, the only thing you could possibly want is a bit more set completion. You have no chance at completing any of the 4 update sets in one box, and it would probably take at least a couple of boxes to complete any one of the update sets. Aside from that minor issue though, this is an exceptional product in all other areas.

As far as the box I got, it was a solid box. The parallels weren't too thrilling. The BTP Masks looked awesome and the goalies are both pretty good. The memorabilia card was OK; the Domi/Probert Tough Customers dual jersey is a very popular one, although that insert set is an easier one to pull. But the autographs in this one were great. Tony Amonte SP and Krys Kolanos Gold Autos are solid pulls, and Niko and Nikita aren't slouchs either.

A decent memorbailia card, lots of sweet rookies, 4 awesome autographs. And this is just a run-of-the-mill box of BAP Update. Truely extraordinary!

Everyone should get into this product, buying a box is well worth your time and money!
