Note: this is the third BAP Update Box Break I've done on here, for product analysis, please see the first one.

Well, let's start with the obvious. Another Country of Origin pull for me from BAP Update! It's definately a great GU insert set to be "stuck on". In my last box I found a Jose Theodore single color patch, this time I upgrade the player to one of my favorite players in Iginla and I picked up a two color patch instead of the one color last time. Quite an incredible pull ... that card alone makes the box more than worth it!

But like last time this box also had a few problems that held it back from the perfect score. First of all, there was a duplicate. I'm normally not picky about dupes, but if I'm only getting 25% of the base set I really should not be picking up duplicates within the same box.

Secondly, the autographs were kinda lame ... only 2 of them for starters. I did get a very nice Silver Boynton autograph that is an excellent pickup, but a gold Dagenais is depressing as the hobby and the sport have already left him in the dust (the auto doesn't even look that great to make matters worse).

I did have some good luck on the rookies and parallels, Conklin and Niko Kapanen are still known in the sport at least and are nice Rubies to pick up considering. Deano-Mac is an OK Sapphire for me having followed Calgary for the past two seasons ... I would have liked a bit better than Deano, but I don't mind it and realize there are a lot worse out there! The Trent Hunter Parkie RC is the hot rookie pull out of these boxes now, so it was a nice one to land and Datsyuk and Cole RCs are always nice pulls.

This definately wasn't a bad box ... the moment I pulled the Iginla Country of Origin the box was a dramatic success. However, while that pull was amazing it couldn't entirely cover up for the other flaws the box had. A great box, but not quite perfect.

Man, with my luck at pulling those Country of Origins I should buy 4 or 5 more boxes of BAP Update! :)
