For product analysis, please see my first box break here.

This box again had a kinda lame jersey card. Alexander Mogilny is a decent player I suppose but he's not huge in the hobby and the set itself was a fairly common one (60 of each inserted). Plus I pulled an Al-Mo jersey in the last box, so I was hoping for something a bit different this time around, but to no avail.

The parallels in this box were pretty sweet. Obviously the Nidermayer Emerald is a solid pull, not only is it an Emerald but it happens to be of the reigning Norris winner. Not my first choice (you can guess who my firstchoices would have been!) but not a bad one to pull at all. The rest of the parallels maintained their star power as well ... the worst parallels were either Joe Nieuwendyk or Patrik Stefan, that's a pretty high level of player selection!

The rookies were so-so. The Rick Nash was great and while the second one doesn't help the set I'm sure it can be traded to help the set out. PM Bouchard is another nice rookie to have as is Hainsey, but otherwise the rookies were for the most part set fillers.

The biggest disappointement this box had was once again the jersey card. I guess the design beats out the last Mogilny jersey I pulled, but still not that thrilling. When all is said and done I am much more interested in the Emerald parallel and the base set completeion than I am with the jersey.
