For product analysis, please see my first box break here.

This box was a bit of a let down from the outset. The parallels really weren't that strong at all, Turek, and Kuba are iffy and the Mogilny/Peca Ruby isn't much to get excited over. Eric Daze is a nice player in the league and it is a subset card, but not a thrilling Sapphire, the Brett Hull parallel was indeed nice, but not thrilling player selection on the parallels.

The rookies were a bit of a step up, I liked the Spezza RC and picked up 4 more RCs for my set. Rick Nash though, I've pulled 3 Nash RCs from 3 boxes now and am getting a little tired of him. I suppose Nash duplicates are better than Shawn Thornton duplicates, but still duplicates in general aren't that great. Plus, the other downer to the RCs in this box was the number, only 6 compared to the usual 8 other boxes I've gotten have contained.

The memorabilia card was a pickup once I finally found it. The Stanley Cup Champions jersey set is a great looking set and a great insert set idea, and that Steve Yzerman fellow is a pretty big Red Wing! With only 40 stated copies, that was definately a bright spot to the box.

But the parallels dragged the box back down, the cross-box coallation took a hit here as well -- after 2 boxes this one only introduced 24 new cards to my set, and while the memorabilia card was nice these other factors still did weigh the box down.
