The exact contents of the pack scanned in and used to find insert odds:

1. Dmitri Bykov RC

3. Patrick Marleau #69
4. HSHS 5pt card
5. Arturs Irbe Golf Card #GS14
6. David Aebischer Silver Autograph

First Pack Comments: The Aebischer auto is pretty sweet, although the Irbe Golf card is a bit of a letdown. The 5 points would be above average if the redemption program hadn't ended 5 months. Still, solid autograph from the first pack.

For a product review, please see my first box break.

This box was depressing for two big reasons: first the lack of any jersey card and also the lack of any buyback signature cards. Jersey cards are one per two boxes, Buyback autos are listed as "random", but I managed 4 in one box at one point, so they aren't all that scarce. But this box had neither, which was a bit of a downer.

What this box did have that stood out was the rookies. EIGHT rookie cards, #188 right on down the line to #193. That was definately a nice boost to the box, although the rookies from this product aren't all that much in demand, the more popular RCs (Bouwmeester and Zetterberg) are nice pulls and just that fact that 8 of 12 packs had a rookie is amusing in itself.

The player selection on the autographs was kinda iffy. Jean-Sebastien Giguere is a sweet gold, but the auto doesn't look very sharp at all .. there just isn't that much there. Rick Nash was definately a sweet silver autograph pull. Otherwise it was all kind of bland. Aebishcer, Straka, Reinprecht, Klesla. Cole are OK autos, but nothing amazing and Roloson, Brendl, Sidenberg, and Timmonen are let downs.

So the rookies were a nice addition, but the autograph selection left a bit to be desired. Not entirely bad, but not exactly what I was hoping for either.
